I'm curious. Was it true that Xcelerator(sp?) was testing at over 100 mph earlier in the year?

It's so hard to tell fact from fiction.

Can the experts clear this up? Jeff?

Yes, Xcelerator was tested at like 110 mph earlier this year.

What is most anticipated event of 2003? the debut of # 16, the release of Metallica's new album, the release of Terminator 3, or the release of Matrix:Reloaded...tough call.

BTW, CPbound, I say Matrix: Reloaded will beat everything else, but tie with #16....

On the power tower webcam it looks like they are getting ready for the launch track to be conected. What do you think?

I agree neo. :) The Matrix series will live forever as a cinematography legend. The story line also makes you think.

You appear to be right Carsten, from the Power Tower there appears to be no break in the launch track, and the cranes are not in view.

You can see the crane in the ConstructionCam. I think they need it for completing the elevator lift and to conduct a pull-through test.

They have add the last part of the elervator piece and I think the tower is done. They still need to tighten the tower but I think they are done with it on the tower. I think we will be seeing the crain being moved this next week or next week after that. What do you think of that?

Do you think that the "table top" piece went up today or did it go somewere else and I missed it. That would be the only place where I would think it would go still.

Don't forget about the lights on the tower, they have to put those up, too, unless they can bring the parts for those up the elevator (once it's finished).

fat chris, look closely at the top of the tower. That's where they put the "table top" piece. =)

I think they are going to unload more track pieces because there was a small yellow crain sitting there on web cam #3 the beach cam and now it is gone. What do you think?
