Worst guest experiences '03

the best is when guest go to get in the train on dragster and they take their shoes off because they think that some how their shoes are going to fly off even when their feet on on the floor...can someone explain this to me???

its really great too when you are working at entrance and the guest want to start swinging at you because they have to buy a strap or put their glasses in a locker

There surprisingly weren't any guest experiences that were that horrible for me this year. There were funny ones, however, like the time this man got his junk caught in-between the air gates.

hey dan- when we were down we did clean. there were days when all we did was clean. i am so sick of the smell of SD-20. if dragster was down for the a couple of days they would send us to other rides, or if they knew that morning that it wouldn't be up they would give us the choice of going home or to another ride. but the crew was really close, so we had fun when we had down time (we just couldn't look like we were having fun tho.)

i hope to see you all next year (hopefully back at dragster!)

Justin I remember the man and his junk. I tried so hard not to laugh at him all the while I wanted to say " Is your wee wee ok?" LOL

As far as a bad guest experience.....2 years ago I had a Black man call me racist b/c I won't let him on the ride with a bag. I'm Black. go figure :)

I didn't have too many bad guest experiences this past summer thankfully. But the worst would have to be parents cussing me out because their kids were too small to ride witches wheel. These parents would start dropping f-bombs like crazy, and infront of their kids too

never really had a bad guest experience this summer. Most of them have been good....except for this one lady....before i rang up her order, I reapted myself to make sure that she wanted the picture instead of the keychain. After the picture came out, the girl who was workin the printers.....came down to me and said "don't ask..just change into a keychain" so i did, and when that lady left, the one workin w/ me said she mumbled "what the f*** is she doing, I said keychain" yeah, that was probably the worst one. Other than that.....that was basically about it. Not too much argue over pictures or keychains....just most people being extremely dumb!....that's about it! lol!

oh yeah, i also forgot about this most recent one.....i told this man and his girlfriend I cant sell or show them their picture because the guy is doing something very innapropriate(sp?)...they both got mad and walked away...as the guy was walking away.....he turned yelling to me "you want innapropriate, i'll show you innapropriate....flipped me the bird and said F*** you." Then 5 min. later cp security came by to get ready for closing. They always seem to come at the wrong times.

So let's review the point of view we've learned here:

-There are far too many Latin Americans for your liking

- Regardless of their actual heritage, they're all Mexican

-Latin Americans aren't individuals, but a faceless, collective 'them'

- 'They' are all broke..even though they somehow manage to pay for admission, parking, souvenirs, food, etc.

I believe you encounter them everywhere, Jeff. They just come in droves when you have a job.

At Cedar Point I ran into plenty of dorks. One guy was almost ready to argue with me because things were so expensive there. He was getting mad and saying he had to pay for everything. Then he said, "Why do I have to pay to get on the train to get to the other end of the park?"

I had to calmy explain to him that the train was free. I had no idea where he got that idea! Weird.
