That will fix it.

I have to say thank you for the winter scenes. Every since I was a youngster I wanted to see CP during the winter. I have never been there during the winter and this is the next best thing. I'm hoping by next winter I will have my private pilots license and you gussed it. A winter trip over the Point is first on my list.

First I want to complement you on the fantastic pictures you took.
Second Im curious to know why what appears to be a tanker truck is
doing parked besides the Dragster Hydraulic building.
Im guessing it has something to do with the Hydraulic oil but I am sure I wrong(not the first time either).
thanks in advance :)
Also looking forward to the next installment --makes me miss the Point even more:( *** Edited 2/24/2005 10:22:48 AM UTC by causewaycruiser***
I wondered that too. There's a pump between the hoses that go to the truck and inside, so I assume they're pumping the oil out. That wouldn't be a very clean path I would think to pump it in.

I'm curious as to why they removed the name and logo from the Happy Friar building. Are they changing it to something else, or do they remove the signs every year for some reason?

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
It has been subtle, but a lot of signs have been painted or replaced in the last year or two. The Dodgem sign is a replacement, but the shop signs on the trail across from Red Garter look painted. Ditto for several on the main midway.
I added one more shot to the Dragster midway gallery (looking down the launch from the platform).

For some reason I can't think of what the name of this ride is, I can't picture it in my mind. http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=2137
