I highly doubt they're hiding anything. Based on the animation, the construction looks as though it will be centered pretty much directly between the tree and Oceana.
Not to mention that it doesn't look like a whole lot will be happening until after Christmas, at which time I imagine the tree will be gone.

Got me into the Christmas spirit! Too bad they don't turn the lights on the coasters during the season, like they used to do a few years back.
I know--irresponsible use of electricity. But it was nice, nonetheless.
I am not sure if they still do it or not, but they used to fire up all the coaster lights for a flyover with special needs kids.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
I don't think there is anything interesting about this. I think that is their reason for putting the tree there. Nothing is happening so why not put something festive up and have some fun?
I think the tree is a nice touch especially since there isn't much going on! Kudos to CP for adding something different so we don't continue to just see the lake and an empty plot of land.
Cannot wait to see what happens as the off season progresses!
I also noticed the crane and trailer.... :) Could it be??? They are finally putting up the base!!!!! So not much longer and we will see vertical progress He** YE**
So There Are 3 Cedar Fair Parks Getting This Ride,Knotts Berry In California,Cedar Point, And Kings Island, Kings Island Will Get This Ride First,Theres Will Open In April.
The knott's version may be delayed for a while.
They are pondering if they want to remove the sky cabin ride to put windseeker there, or to build the ride elswhere in the park.
To this day, there is no sign of any construction at knott's. Kinzel is supposed to visit the park in the next week or so to make a final decision as to where it's going to be built.

At the winter tour, Bryan Edwards said vertical construction would begin around March.

Far as I can tell, no concrete has been poured, so I imagine any vertical construction is a ways off.
We have an Adena trailer and now some equipment moving dirt (and snow) around now. Most likely foundation prep.
I bet we'll see the giant footer poured in January. February we should start to see vertical construction. This is just my guess though.
This was only a few posts up.

But it takes effort to look only a few posts up.... :)
I kinda was hoping something might start going up when I do my winter tour but March is out of the question. Oh well, may they'll have parts in the parking lot or something. :D

Please, someone adjust the Windseeker cam. It is out of focus.
Thanks!!
Can't wait to see the activity ramp up on this one!
It could just be moisture frozen on the lens.
