Will You Ride It?

I've been meaning to ask you since I saw another post of yours; where are you from? I read something you wrote about "Kiddie Park" and it was kinda funny because that's probably the place that started it all for me!

... Ahhhh... Dangling feet, Sun in my face, and wind in my hair .... Bliss!

I am a native Clevelander...lived right up the street from Metro Hospital for the first year of my life, moved to Old Brooklyn and lived there for the next five, and have been in either Parma or Parma Heights ever since. I think there are pictures of me on the kiddie coaster at Kiddie Park as both a child and an adult (with my son). How I managed to get my 6' frame into one of those seats, I still don't know, but I did!

The drop side of Power Tower freaks me out as it is. If they put the tilting seats in, I'm not getting near the thing!

Florida may have Disneyworld and Key West,
but Ohio has Cedar Point and Put-In-Bay.
It's great to live in Ohio!

Well said, Pete. If they did put those seats on, I wouldn't even ride the space shot side! The first and ONLY time I rode the drop side was the summer of '00, and according to my husband, I went completely white about half way up the tower. The looks on the faces of the folks standing in the staging area as we came down the first time were classic, though...I really think they thought I was going to lose my lunch right on their heads! Happily for me, and fortunately for everyone on the ground, that did not come to pass. LOL!

I really don't know if I'll ride Dragster this year. I have to watch it in operation, first.

I can't wait to ride TTD considering the only launch type rollercoaster I have been on was at Universal Islands of Adventure-The Incredible Hulk. That ride was one of my all time favorites and was incredible. Its also half as fast or not even compared to TTD. I wonder what its going to be like going 120mph in 4 seconds.
I absolutly will ride Dragster. I'll probably ride MF first though because when i went to CP last time in 2000 I was afraid to ride it. I could kick myself for not riding it, but I'm going back to CP this year so I want to expierience 300 feet before I get on a 400 foot coaster.

No! Why ride it. That is so stupid its just another little ride that only idiots would wait 50 hours for a 7 second ride!

Lol.

I'll be In-Line! You can bet the $$$ on it!

I am only 14 years old and live in Alabama, but I have gone to CP every year since I was 7 or 8 can't remember. Anyway I was cured by Magnum at 10 years and have been addicted since.

So, for me it is a definate YES, I am going to ride Dragster.

Right now I'm saying i will ride it, no problem, and that I'm not scared at all. But i also said i would be scared with MF, and i still remember what i felt like when we drove around that bend and i saw the height for the first time. My jaw just dropped.

I think i'm under estamating the hieght of TTD too. And i have this feeling my jaw will drop again when i see it for the first time. But i will be riding it no matter what!

yeah i'm gonna ride it

Are you for real?! Asking that question to a bunch of Cedar Point and rollercoaster fanatics...c'mon. Will You Ride It?...Everybody say DUH! Of course I'll be ridin' it!

I will definitely ride it. I didn't know were to put this so I put this in this topic because I didn't want to get yelled at by you people for starting a new topic. Top Thrill Dragster made the news today in Albany, NY. They were talking about "Are coasters dangerous(mainly G-forces)?" They said that they are not dangerous and thet can experience more G-forces from plopping onto you're chair or sneezing.
