Will You Ride It?

A ride that is over 400 feet tall, goes 0-120 mph in 4 seconds & lasts only about 30 seconds. Will it be worth it to wait in line for only 30 seconds of pure adrenaline? I think it will, just because, there is no other ride like this in the world. What do you think? Will you ride it?

If you're afraid to ride this new coaster at CP, it's time you overcame your fears.

Yes

Everyone keeps saying it's going to be 30 seconds. It might be 30 seconds from when you move out of the station to the launch area. But the elements of the ride will only be 16 seconds from launch to brakes. Either way, it'll still be amazing and yes I will be riding. I don't care how short it is it's going to be much more intense than any of us can imagine. See you all in line!

Peace I'm Out

I thought it was only about a 15 second ride. I only said 30, beacuse that's what I kept hearing everybody else say. Can anybody confirm how long the ride actually is from the launch area & not from the station.

Thanks

Won't most anybody who's enthusiastic to post on this site ride it? I don't know, maybe I'm making a bad assumption. Oh well...I know I'll ride it.

Wise men say, a world without coasters is monotony.

You have to admit that TTD is very intimidating. That's why I thought I'd throw this question out there for discussion. I would'nt mind if someone responded to this & said they wouldn't ride it.
The official site says 15 seconds from the launch to brakes, just as Andy said. The track is 2,800 feet if that's also what you're wondering. I don't know the ride time from when you secure yourself in, to when you hop out.

If there's bugs on your shirt, you had a good ride.

Thank you Jeff for your work to make and run this site!

Rides don't look that tall in photos. They don't even look that scary sometimes. But that's what you say to your friends when you're just LOOKING at the ride. When you're actually in the train of a thrill ride you never rode before, don't you get extremely nervous, anxious, and shaky? And each first ride you ever have will be the most disorientating of all.

This ride WILL scare you.

Dragster is very intimidating...that's why I like it. ;-)

WOOF !

I'll definitely ride it, and I'll definitely be scared when I see that tree start to blink little yellow lights. It's always awesome to actually be scared by a ride.

Enjoy your ride on the Big Bad Bug

1500 per hour. Short wait! I will definately hit this one several times each visit.

Millie and Maggie will surely have some shorter lines this year. Not that I ever really complain about Magnum's wait ever anyway.

Blue people fly sideways when it rains....

I am already nervous about riding it ! But I am nervous about every roller coaster and then I ride them a thousand times!

Yes, I will ride it. This ride is going to be so much more intense than most of us think. S:UE you're right, they don't look that scary in pictures but when you're on them they are very scary. You should of seen me as I was getting on MF or when I was in line for Exterminator at Kennywood(a wild mouse in the dark) I was shaking terribly because I didn't know what to expect. But then I went into the station, saw the cars, and laughed. The cars were themed as mice.

If the line is anywhere near the length of Millennium Force's when it first opened, I will wait until the end of the season.

Feel the Beat

I just thought of this. I'm going to get in and pull up the t-bar, attempting to show no emotion at all until the restraints are locked. Then I'll try and escape and be all scared.
I don't know if i will ride it. I have to see it in action with me own eyes first.

Eventually, I will. It's a being over 40 thing that each and every one of you will get to enjoy, someday.

Just keep riding...

I'm over 40, and can't wait to ride it ! !

No hesitation for me at all.

Heck, I started this topic & I'm 35. I'll be riding it. I might be a little hesitant & scared at first, but, that's what a thrill ride is all about.
