Will Skyhawk and Shoot the Rapids be open for 2014?

And no secret info JW. It's just my opinion after seeing the state of it on opening weekend with almost no activity around the ride. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't open till mid June. All of the boats are still being worked on with some still completely bare.

Anything could happen I suppose but I wouldn't hold out on a May opening.

There was water in the flume today, so they at least filled it apparently in anticipation of it opening.

It seems one full swing short to me. Though I could care less since it's nice to just see it running.

Anybody notice any activity on Shoot the Rapids?

I was in the park today and took a few laps on the train. On one lap I noticed a ride op I believe in the station along with a boat, second time around I saw two maintenance workers doing something in a shed not too far from the base of the first lift. There was water in the trough, but not the normal amount, and no water going down the drops just yet

Actually, when I walked past it today, they had water running down the second drop and all of the water effects on the rocks were on also.

Anyone else notice Skyhawk is not swinging as high this year? My son commented on it after we rode it yesterday. Then watching it run I don't think it gets past horizontal at the hightest point. In years past it was going considerably past horizontal.

Yeah, Skyhawk definitely seems a bit weaker this year, and I noticed that the side closest to the town hall seems to swing a bit faster/always been one step ahead of the other side, too.

I felt like something was up with SkyHawk. My brother and I made the comment that something felt weird, but we couldn't tell if it was a changed ride cycle or just not going as high

Shoot the Rapids was testing around 4pm this afternoon. It was pretty cool to see it in action again. I'm assuming the plan is to open all 3 water rides this weekend. I didn't notice any activity at Snake River Falls or Thunder Canyon. I was kind of disappointed I didn't have the chance to ride any water rides during my 3-day visit, but I'll be back next weekend!

The only thing I've noticed w/ Snake is new concrete on the trough wall, or at least it appears to be fresh. Nothing else looked different.
