What about the Nestea Plunge? Or the useless tractor displays? (Are those still there?) The Kodak picture spots? (Are those still around, too?)

Actually, I'm not a fan of Pepsi's Snake River Falls either. I don't appreciate paying money to theme parks just to be advertised to. I also don't like corporate sponsors renaming athletic arena's either. Quicken Loans Arena?? Please. I also don't like all the ads before the movies they have no either. Personally I'd rather pay a little more and not have ads.

I guess just putting "sponsored by AT&T" on the sign or something would be better. But, having huge advertisements for AT&T's products on the wall is just tacky. (in my opinion)

Gee...I was sitting at that very bar when I first overheard the conversation and planning about the wireless. The seat closest to the wall to be specific, the computer that was still open.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

From what I recall, the tractor displays are no longer present. However I havent bothered to pay to much attention to that spot since they beginning of the year, and they may have since returned this season.

Well, John Deer was gone. Then they had Cub Cadet I think. I'm not sure if it's still there though. There was maybe a year or more between the 2 with nothing?

I think they should drop all sponsorship and then make up for the lost revenue in raised admission prices! The park would be virtually empty all the time!

CP has quite a few sponsors that are present around the park.

The display has always been there. I believe John Deer was replaced in 2004.

EDIT: Read John Hammonds Post

Isn't that a contradictory statement? They never had both... did they?

While i have mostly tuned out ads in most cases. And heck the Kodak picture spots have been around so long they've become like one of the family ;) But i must side with halltd on the movies. One of the reasons one pays to goto a movie theater is to AVOID commercials. And I have to ask why the ticket price didn't decrease when those started? It's complete and utter bs. Just like Walmart stong-arming their suppliers for one cent. Do you think we get to see the savings on that one? Never.

If you don't want to see the commercials at the movie, you just nned to show up 10 minutes after the listed movie time. ;)

I wouldn't have any problem with it if it weren't for the banners that seem to be covering up a lot of window space...

Well, for anyone who has ever used a laptop, they know that direct sunlight makes it very difficult to see the screen.

In my opinion there wasn't much to look at out that window anyway. And the Donut Time logo was already there, which kind of messed with the view already. I don't mind; less direct light in my eyes.
