From everyone on the CP&LE, RIP Mayor Scott...~

I think the location is what makes it "unpopular". There isn't really any other rides by it that are big attractions. Also, a lot of people get a dizzy sensation after it. My dad had to sit down for 30 mins and he normally doesnt get bothered by anything.
I don't think Wicked Twster is unpopular at all. I mean Ive only ridden it 6 times in the two times that I was a Cedar Point last year. All the other coasters only twice. I also think that the illusion it puts on guests to be abosulty insane or not like the traditional roller coaster would also be another reason for guests to be afraid to not ride. I have a couple of friends that said it looked stupid upon entering the park and when I went over there with them and told them they had to ride it they came off having one of the best rides in the park. I don't think that it is unpopular at all, people just don't recognize it to be awesome. Its got one of the best crews in the park and it has probabaly one of the best ride capacities. Its an amazing coaster and eventually more people will find that out until then I'll take the short line anytime.

Thats one big coaster----
-----HAHAHAHAHA WHAT DID I TELL YOU!
All you see is track, all you see is sky, all you see is lake, all you see is ground, all you see is the station.- me

WT could not be unpopular it's just that at this time in the season all the rides but TTD and MF have no lines {always on weekdays, becuase all the kids are still in school.} *** Edited 6/16/2004 5:06:57 AM UTC by Ary***

Goodbye 2005 season!!!!

I think if they built another coaster right in that area they would get alot of business, but they would have to knock out the aqurium that's next to Wicked Twister and it would have to travel through where Ocean Motion is.
That may help WT a little, because more people would be over there. WT is one of the 1st rides you will come to in the park, so if people really wanted to ride WT that would be the time to do it, or at the end of the day. Like I said before, all the kids are in school at that time of the year so CP don't have as many people in the park as it is.

Goodbye 2005 season!!!!

Even though MF is always a great ride and TTD always freaks me out and is the most awesome experience known to man, WT is by far my favorite.

The line is short due to the location of the ride. That area is always dead. That's the only answer there is for that.

Good Capacity and somewhat hidden off to the side. Now, in a couple of years when the new...oh, nevermind.

I know you probably said this to stir something up, but what do you mean? The new what?

Obviously the new kiddie coaster "Not So Wicked Twister" that's going in Disaster Transport's place! ;)

Or he's obviously just trying to sound sweet.
I do not have the answer to why Wicked Twister is unpopular. I have never had anything but good rides on this coaster. I think it also gives a unique experience with the freefall sensation. I am a fan of the back seat myself. In my opinion, it is one of the best at CP. Much better than Disaster Transport, Blue Streak, and Cedar Creek Mine Ride.
Wicked twister is a fun ride, but I think it's unpopular because people don't think that there is enough to it.

Go Ravens and Lakers, don't worry, we'll bounce back.

X at SFMM is frickin awesome, it's a must ride for all coaster fans.

Does anyone know if WT is up cuz im going to the park in 2 days and last time I was there WT was down for part of the day, so anyone that has been to the park this week or last can you help thxs.

Goodbye 2005 season!!!!

Hey now come on, Disaster Transport is a good ride. On Summer Days it gets really good capacity. A lot of people like me still enjoy it because it's right next to Wicked Twister and usually everyone hits that first thing.

If i know one thing in this world well its Cedar Point Rumors, im guessing hes alking about the new Rumored pier that may be put behind Wicked Twister. Am I right?

Yeah, because that's a spectacular idea after half the beach was washed away a couple of winters ago.

Wicked Twister is very underrated. One of the more prominent reasons being that it is pretty secluded...off to the side. First time guests don't notice it as much as Top Thrill because TTD is smack dab in the middle of everything (not to mention it's height and obvious popularity either way).

As for me, I love Wicked Twister, and the fact that people haven't realized what a great ride it is...is perfectly fine for me. I mean, come on, 30 minute lines. Can't argue with that.

I think its in the top 5 easily at CP, but people dont expect much of it, so they dont go to that particular section of the park because it away from the main part.

That part of the park is always died, what good ride do they have over there at the side of the park thats like MF or TTD. None.

Goodbye 2005 season!!!!
