Why is WT unpopular?

From what my friends tell me, no one was in line really for WT on wed. so the question my friends want me to post is why is WT unpopular? *** Edited 6/11/2004 2:07:23 AM UTC by sieve72***
Wicked Twister is one of my MUST ride coasters when I go to the park. I always ride in the back seat because I love that feeling of being propelled backwards up the spike! I also like the theme music in the station it gets you so pumped up for the ride... Good ole Crystal Method ;-) I say let the people not like WT and stay away from the line, that means less wait for us that do love the coaster for what it is!

I have the same opinion. Me and my friends love Wicked Twister. I dont really care if others dont like it, I do. =D

Wicked Twister unpopular? Isn't that a load of crap.
My friends told me that were going towards WT and saw that like nobody was in line. I just put the original post out b/c they wanted me to. So if you guys want to argue with me, don't. I don't think it is unpopular, my friends just wanted to know why the line was short. I probally didn't use good English.
Good Capacity and somewhat hidden off to the side. Now, in a couple of years when the new...oh, nevermind.

I love WT, not to mention the fact that i can get two rides in under 10 minutes on a good day.

I've seen it empty only right after it was broken down. I was walking past the ride, it was broken down, and I saw the ride actually running, so I yelled to my dad, and we both ran over to the queue line and walked right in to be the first in line. The line was empty for quite some time, so that could be what happened when you were there, sieve72.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

Like I said before, I may be a little biased in my opinion, but I think Twister is one of the best rides at Cedar Point period. I'm not trying to diss the other rides, but I love Twister that much.

Being on the midway with not a lot of other rides may have an effect on it, but also perhaps the fact that it's such an aquired taste?

Many of guests will say they'd never ride Twister just based on the simple fact that they'd vomit. While this is totally not true, if they think it, then it is (true that is). Not to mention the fact that you can't really see many other rollercoasters right in front of your face just before you board the next train. I mean you can look at Dragster right in front of you, but there's no other ride at CP that you are constantly reminded that you're going to go 72MPH (which seems a heck-of-a-lot faster when you're right on top of the ride) in about 2.5 seconds... For some reason it freaks people out ... I don't know why ;)

I don't think I'll ever not ride WT when I come to CP... EVER. It's my fav. hands down.

I personally love WT. I ride it first and last usually (teacher on trip got mad cause I was late to the bus :P)...But for some reason (I went Last Sat.) The longest I waited the entire day was like 20 minutes...I dunno why it never has a line.
i think it has something to do with the fact that some people cant handle the twisting, it makes them sick. i also think WT can be intimidating to some people. but never the less i love it!:-D

how exciting!

I love to ride Wicked Twister. It is a lot of fun, especially the second to last seat!

Lately this year Wicked Twister has been the first ride I hit. I love Wicked Twister. It may not have the speed of Top Thrill Dragster but it's still a fun ride. I don't think Wicked Twister is Unpopular, because I see a lot of people head over there when they want to head to the beach. It's right there you know. A lot of it has to do with Top Thrill Dragster though, everyone wants to ride that and plus Millennium Force. I think it depends on the time of day. A lot of people start off with Raptor as their first ride of the day and work their way around so thats another reason. I don't think Wicked Twister is unpopular.
Wicked Twister looks intimidating in my opinion. My first ever ride on WT was right after riding Top Thrill Dragster and Millennium Force (neither of which intimidated me). Just looking at it kind of scared me a little bit. I know my dad who rode Dragster 5 times still won't get on WT. I keep telling him it's one of the best rides in the park but he won't listen. Anyway, WT is not unpopular. Like Ben said, WT isn't exactly in the most "hoppin'" part of the park. It also has a pretty high capacity and shuffles riders on and off fairly quickly. Line or no line, WT is a must hit at CP.
A lot of people won't get on WT because they think that they will get sick, and compare the sensation to the one on Viking ships.

Why 2nd to last seat, I go for the last seat, and if that lines way too long, then I'd go for the front.

the last seat and the second to last seat are basically one car, attatched . Meaning that they have the same amount of twist but shorter the wait in line. Same with the front seat minus the view. I hope that is understandable. :)

When you visit CP, visit my Mill, est. 1835

Wicked Twister is definately one of my favorite rides at the park. I always try to at least get one ride when I go. In my opinion they have one of the nicest crews in the park also.

2005 - Dragster Photo
2002-2007 - Season Pass

Nicest crews, and funniest crews.

"Welcome back riders, how was your ride?" (crowd cheers). "...wicked."

2005/2006: Cedar Point - Millennium Force
2007/2008/2009: Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom - Tomorrowland Speedway
2008: Hard Rock Park - Maximum RPM! Opening Supervisor
2008/2009: Universal Orlando - Men in Black: Alien Attack Team Leader, Guest Services Coordinator

The second to last seat is better than the last seat because like JW said, it is the same car, plus it doesnt have any wait, but the most important part is if you sit on the right side, you get an awesome view of the ground 215 feet below on the back spike because the car in front of you twists out of the way. You don't get that view in the last seat.
