It could be because of the angle or it might not. I also wouldn't think that it'd be a hill with brakes or whatever you call it because it looks like it has a banked turn after the rising supports and I shutter to think about coming right out of a banked turn and going down into the brakes. I'd really like to know what they plan on doing with that giant hole in the ground lol. I will definately make plans to go back to the Point for my second time next season.

And it was because of the angle. It still could be an upward launching coaster. Well hopefully if there's inversions on this coaster, they use the same headrests that's on TTD for better comfort.

Well, that wasn't exactly my thinking, but I'll have to agree with you there. :)

Hmm, thats an interesting shot, it could be for a brakerun considering Intamins can brake going downhill, like Storm Runner. Also, what's up with the set of footers right next to it? Dueling/racing coasters perhaps? Also, if it is a wingwalker train setup, it seems that there would be track/supports to close to each other.
Well, Port Adventura already announced what their coaster is going to be. Perhaps Intamin was only talking about announced? I have no idea. My question is: How many coasters does it take for a ride type to move from prototype to a regular? Because, Intamin could not be counting this as a prototype if they really already have one announced, and if it only takes one coaster to go from a prototype to regular.
That might be very confusing to understand... *** Edited 7/24/2006 3:00:27 PM UTC by grizzeg***
Hi Guys .I found a new web site that tells sumthing new about the new coaster going in at cedar pont in 2007 check it out it has new clues.its www.coaster.net .Check it out .
I just realized that under Cedar Point's roster, it says that the new one is a sit-down. That's a bit of a hint; it's not a flying one or anything that swings out.
Am I late on the uptake?
"THE Top Thrill Dragster...THE Millennium Force...THE Wicked Twister...THE Magnum! How do you like those apples?!?!?"
Sit-down is what is listed by default.

Even though I think we can say with almost 100% certainty that this will be using standard Intamin trains (I.E. sitting, with a floor, and a T-bar, OTSR if inverting).

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
