Whuddya think of the name?

Personally I don't care for it but for a ride this epic I think they coulda thought of something better. But it does go along with a great theme. Saying the "top thrill" part is gonna be a mouthful though. This ride is gonna be insane!!!!

I think Top Thrill Dragster is a fine name. Dragster sounds a bit plain. Adding "Top Thrill" adds some Jazz.

I like the name. It has a certain quality, I think it sounds good and fits the ride.

I just wonder what alternatives to Top Thrill Dragster there was. If that is the best they could come up with, they could at least explain why they put so many words in it. For one thing, it definately is unique.

Kids at school as well as me were in awe at the stats and everything but for the most part thought the name was kind of goofy. I'm just calling it Dragster.

Top Thrill is a play on words... A play on "Top Fuel Dragsters"

I have a feeling many years from today, they'll shorten it to just Dragster.

I like the name. I didn't at first but the whole Top Thrill Dragster adds a little spice to it.

I just stared at my computer screen this morning in shock at how much I didn't like the name. I'm not fond of MF or WT's names either, but it really doesn't mean much when you're riding them. I'm already calling it "Dragster". I have to add that those are the sexiest trains I've ever seen!

The name is just very, very awkward to me. It doesn't sound right in my head or when I try to say it out loud.

But yeah.. I'm just gonna call it Dragster and leave it at that.

I think everyone will end up refering to it as Dragster in the long run. Another few examples are the Dispatch Master Transport being called the Disaster Transport, the Cedar Creek Mine Ride being called the Mine Ride.

The name "Top Thrill Dragster" is great! Like MillenniumRider said it is a play on Top Fuel Dragsters, which makes sense and sounds very cool. I like the name.

Hey guys: when you are racing up that tower at 120mph, I think the last thing you're going to be thinking is "this thing has a lame name." Personally, I don't care what the name is, I will be in line to ride and happy as hell when I do.

Come on, guys, get over the name and give this ride the respect it deserves. Once you're on it, it will COMMAND your respect.

It dosn't flow. Millennium Force rolls off your tounge. Top Thrill Dragster dosn't. Seems unnatural and akward.

I agree that it is likely a play on "Top Fuel". I also agree it is lame. It is hard for me to believe they all sat around the table and said, "yeah, that is a great name!"

Frankly, they could have named it "#16" and I would ride it anyway.

"Dragster" by itself is fine, but the "Top Thrill" part is stupid. Worse, reporters can't seem to say it. I watched four different reporters/anchors trip over it last night on the various news programs. It's corny and lame.
