MS is a cool woodie. Sit towards the back and it will..in a way...give a nice tail whip!!!
MS would be a nice ride but it is so slow towards the end you could fall asleep.
I love Mean Streak, it's one of my favorite rides in the park. But I'm going to ask a silly question... how do you get to the Blue Streak entrance? I've been going to Cedar Point about once a year for the past couple years or so (It's a long drive for me), but I have always wanted to ride Blue Streak and I dont know how to get there! I'm leaving next Friday for our first Halloweekends trip, and I would love to get a Blue Streak ride in, finally. I know it's silly.
As you are passing raptor there is a small passage that goes under raptor that leads to game day calypso cadicrap cars and blue streak. Just look for the billboard for game day with the ref on it.

The walkway doesn't lead to Cadillac Cars, that entrance is right off the main midway.
I think you're referring to the Turnpike Cars.

Blue Streak is my favorite woody...after Shivering Timbers, of course. :)

I hated Shivering Timbers. I thought it was boring.
Besides, now there's really only 1 wooden coaster that I really like. All of the others are just, well.... "eh".

Shivering Timbers was boring?

I agree with e x i t. The only time I came out of my seat on Timbers is when the lapbars released in the station.
Huh, because I get some good air all the way out. I don't remember it so much on the way in, but out I'm almost standing (within the limits of properly fastened restraints anyway).

I didn't really like ST eaither... especially since everyone was talking about how great it was. It wasn't that it was bad, it just wasn't good. I'd rather ride Corkscrew.
Mark
But the station on MA's corkscrew has so much more character. :)
Seriously, though, ST was one of the worst coasters I've ever ridden. Maybe because it was so hyped to me, but I found out this weekend that certain coasters cannot be over-hyped.
Jugga, CP's Corkscrew... I actually didn't ride MA's when I was there. I've only been inside MA for a total of 45 minutes in my life, lol. Seriously :)
Mark
You're not missing much. Its a fun ride if you're not that much into coasters, but compared to stuff thats out there (especially for Arrow loopers) its not all that good. To be honest, I'd much rather ride Mad Mouse than corkscrew.

Funny you should mention that...
Mad Mouse was by FAR my favorite ride at MA. My Dad and I rode MM, ST, Wolverine Wilcat (is that what its called) and something else and really enjoyed MM. I thought I was going to land in the parking lot while riding, lol.
Mark
Somehow, I always end up on the left side of the car (second person to get in) and I absolutely hate that first 180 from that seat. But it is such a fun ride.
My only complaint (and this is true for all Mad Mice) is that they need to make the first station block release the restraints rather than the second. It doesn't make any sense (to me anyway) to have a car in the station but not able to get out of it.
