Who IS Mean Streak Henry?

To much wooing in public.

ROUNDABOUND.

Mean streak Henry has ridden the mean streak over 16000 times!! He's one of.the regulars who go to cp all.the time. Very sweet man. There are some of us who marathon rides. Some people ride a ride a bunch of times to break their own record.

Mean streak Henry is a regular rider at cp. He's been one.of the regulars for years!!

I'm usually at CP once or twice a season alone, when returning from visiting friends in Cleveland. I'll stop in, ride a few things, leave. I was there last Sunday, actually - walked onto Raptor, waited an hour for Valravn and 45 mins for MF. But it would never occur to me to push through a line or do anything annoying just because I was there alone?

I waited in line, I rode the rides, I went back out to my car and continued home.

This has definitely been a very interesting thread :)

Umm excuse me but I am one of.the regulars and we do not get special privileges about riding!! The only time we get re rides is.when there is no one waiting in the queues to.ride next. And as some of us are single riders and.there is a an empty seat the crew will.ask if.there are any single riders and we raise our.hand and take the seat. So don't be giving me your b.s. about privileges. You obviously don't come every week like us regulars do. So you don't know how.the system works.

No one pushes through to ride. The only time that occurs is if there is an empty seat and a crew member will ask if there's a single rider. Then that person has the right to.get on. They are not cutting. They were asked to.fill an empty seat!!

I'd love to offer you something for "being a regular" - but I'm all out of cookies.

I'm a weekly visitor (call me a regular if you must), and I think all you "single rider" types are obnoxious, entitled, whiny brats.

No we just all know each other because most of.us regulars come on Sundays. And this year a lot of us have.been meeting at the marina gate to.ride either valravn or millennium first.

Than you obviously haven't talked to many of us if you did you would realize were a pretty nice bunch. I even give people coming just for.the.day a few pointers to make their day a little better. I know many regulars.who.are wonderful people.

Why are you using so many periods???

Dennis urban Kenny and them do not push anyone out of the way to ride anything!!! They are asked by the. ride crew if there are any single riders to.fill.an empty seat and Kenny or any.of the other single riders will.raise their hand and then are allowed to.get on to.occupy an EMPTY seat!!! Kenny is a very nice kid. It's too bad that you think he is not!! He's a actually quite intelligent and is going to college. We all.have a lot of fun together.

Probably using an Android device. The "." and " " are next to each other. It happens to me all the time when I use my phone.

Starting a sentence off with the word "and" isn't a good idea. Second, what a run on sentence, so many conjunctions.

Holy periods, Batman!

One last point. Many here are regulars, some even use the point for just a place to spend a day or grab a bite to eat. Hell just following Pete's topics here, he seems to head up every week with the boat and drink more beers than I do ;)

Just because you are there means nothing. Just because you like the ride means nothing. Usually, this would mean the exact opposite. That family that's there one time a year for a whole weekend is the target market and means more to the park. You marathoning rides isn't contributing to a rides ROI, nor do you match the average per capita in spending for the average guest. So if anything your visit and marathoning is reducing the income generated, which means less new rides, and my cash distributions get smaller.

I got 5 rides on TTD today starting at about 7:15. 3 of them were by being called upon by ride op calling for a single rider and the other 2 by asking a single rider if I may join them.

number of times to Cedar Point:50s/60s/70s/80s-3,1995-1,1996-27,1997-18,1998-13,1999-20,2000-16,2001-8,2002-7,2003-18,2004-14,2005-18,2006-28,2007-16,2008-17,2009-28,2010-26,2011-27,2012-21,2013-18,2014-24,2015-29,2016-46,2017-13,2018-14,2019-10,2020-0,2021-3 Running Total-483 72,000 miles traveled for the point.

Hasher, holy double posts! Anyway, my experience is that most of the single riders (or as you all them "regulars" even though the majority of us here are too) are kind of jackasses. They tend not to shower or wash their clothes, they tend to be rude and seem very entitled. To be honest, nobody cares how many times you have ridden a coaster. It's totally irrelevant. My little brother was pushed to the ground by single rider 2 on dragster, so yes, they do sprint, pushing 7 year old kids out of the way to get to the front. I will say, however, that Henry is kind of an exception.

I can't make claims about most of the regulars, despite being at the park weekly and possibly qualifying as one myself, but I will say I've never witnessed Henry being rude to anyone. He's always been nice to us. Other than hanging out waiting for rerides from the platform I don't see him acting like he's special and deserves anything.

There's a distinction between regulars - those who visit the park frequently - and power riders.

Regulars, like Josh, Pete, etc., are a very different breed than power riders. Power riders are the type of guest that if you happen to, say, be in front of them exiting a ride, will be almost literally breathing down your neck, silently furious that your obnoxious walking is preventing them from running to get their next fix.

Power Rider: "I've been on Dragster Four thou--"

Me: "Well I've had sex...so"

Literal quote, won't name names :)

You can have similar conversations with some Star Trek fans.

Fan: I've memorized the production order of all the Star Trek series.

Me: I've had sex, so....
