I'll be in the park this weekend, but not for CoasterMania. New job, fresh promotion (2 days old), so I've been busy, missed the ticket sale. I'll be there in spirit. Someone lap Arrows for me :P

Usually the 1st Friday every June. Plan on it.

We've been here all week, but not for CoasterMania. Looking at the schedule, what caught my eye is the 10:30 - 12:30 AM ERT on Wilderness Run.

I'm at Sandcastle Suites right now and will be attending Coastermania. I found that RMC stake. I couldn't take a photo because I was there at the very end of the night and was on the last train.

We are staying at Sandcastle Suites, too. Less than impressed. The room smells like cigarette smoke and I made the mistake of checking out the balcony; someone is blazing it up nearby and now I smell that too.

Sigh. 15 minutes in and there is already an entitled coastermania attendee causing a scene at MF, because they won't let her wear her glasses. -_-

In her defense, MF is not listed as a ride that requires a strap for glasses. Personally, I wear a strap for everything, no reason not to to lose my glasses.

I was fine with it until she decided to cause a scene and start cussing. Then hold up the train while she complained until she get her way.

Too bad she got her way. If I were running the ride, she would have been escorted off by security.

There have been a few times in the past where the ops have asked me to remove my sunglasses on MF, most of the time they don't but the few times they have it was no problem. Arguing over something like that and forcing others to wait while one makes a fool of themselves should result in removal from the ride or even the park for that matter.

Worst we had was a lady in Perkins in the breakers complaining to her waitress that they had to eat here since they didn't give out coffee and donuts in the front this year.

Some people would bitch if ya hung 'em with a new rope. Oh, well... We're having a great time! Love the view from the top of Valravn as the sun is rising. Best view in the park!

I was a little disappointed about the lack of donuts but I can live with it. Overall, this year is much better than last year. The crowd limit made a huge difference during the ERT.

We were kinda "counting" on them, so we passed on bringing anything or stopping before hand, but, it's no biggie, we just toughed it out till ert ended then went to the breakers and sat down for breakfast which was really quick and nice.

But, when it comes down to it, I will DEFINITELY give up all the donuts to have the crowd/ert the way it is this year. Worth EVERY penny thus far..
