Where could they build Coasters in the Future?

Well it would be interesting wouldnt it? :)

Interesting, but unlikely.

Interesting? Very. Economically feasible? No.

The amount of money it would take to try to "lake proof" the footers and supports would be immense. Lake Erie is harsh, and in the winter, it freezes. This would cause a lot of problems with a ride structurally. CP isn't that strapped for space, and I'd bet money that they would much rather build on the parking lot's land, than into the lake.

...Denial is an ugly thing.

It would be easier to build into the lake than it would be to get APPROVAL to build into the lake. The EPA might have a little something to say about that.
I don't see CP building into the lake. But building into the parking lot, i can see that happening. First they could work in the employee parking area, and expand that way. Since lots of the employees live there. CP could make an employee parking lot off of the peninsula, and shuttle the employees to CP. But I would love to see another wood coaster at CP, just to shake things up a bit.
I think they should build a watercoaster in Frontiertown that goes over the train and p. road and into the lake! Did I already mention that ?
Where could CP build a coaster...

- Take out antique cars, swans, and a section of TC quese. Also need to move Wave Swinger. This will open up a nice piece of land for a coaster.

- Bone Yard

- Peanuts Playground for a kid coaster

Or they could just rearrange everything to make way for a huge giga tera coaster!

I heard once from an employee that CP was going to put up a parking garage so that some of the lot space could be freed up for expansion. I don't know how true it is but thought I'd add what I heard. He also said that they already have contracts for 5 new coasters within the next 7 years.
I believe there was some preliminary discussion of building a parking garage for Breakers when they built the Tower but I don't know if there has ever been "serious" talk of building garages for day guests.

I think that is the enthusiasts talking.

I went to Universal Studios this past summer and I loved the huge single; parking garage for bothIslands of Adventure and Universal Studios. Exellent parking great traffic flow and best of all if you need to get into your car during the day it isnt baking at 350 degrees. I can see that happening and a new coaster built behind the Demon Drop into the lot there.

I would love to a coaster going into the parking lot. The station could be located past the Transport refreshments beyond the fence.
