where can I get a good burger?

I'm at cedar point chilling out and I want a good big juicy burger. Where can I get the best burgers at cedar point? I already had awesome fries at the happy friar. Need a great burger to with! Oh, and what about a mice cold beer?

For a burger, go to Charlie Brown's Cookout if it's operating, next to Paddlewheel. Haven't been there in a while, but last time it was operating they had good fresh burgers, but they were pathologically cheap about it, charging extra for basic toppings. A criminal act, in my opinion, when the burger is already 3x market price.

You already chose well for the fries; for beer go to one of the bars: Game Time Grill, Red Garter Saloon, or the place adjacent to the Golden Palace.

Go to Famous Daves and get the Ultimate BBQ burger!....yummy!

You can get your beer there also, not sure if its "mice" cold though..lol...that would be interesting.

Leave the park and go around the corner to the thirsty pony!

McDonalds.

...but NOT the one at the end of the Causeway. Heard horror stories about that place.

McDonalds has good burgers? Gross.

These are all great suggestions. Thank you. What about ice cream? I don't care about the price; I just don't want any lame run of the mill soft serve type.

Btw cedar point desperately could use a 3G network. This page took over a minute to load on my iPhone.

I heard the McDonalds by the Causeway is very dirty.

For Ice Cream, I would head to Tofts near the front of the park...

Yeah, Tofts, the big barn in the front of the park by sky ride is good.

Famous Dave's - get the Devil's Spit Burger.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Speaking of ice-cream, yesterday after CP we stopped at the Pied Piper in Huron. Now that has some good ice-cream!

Not horrible,but hardly anticeptic....

The place next to the Blue Streak...it used to be The Silver Dollar...now a sports bar.

Wow. GOOD call on the Devil's Spit Burger at Famous Dave's. Awesome!

I definitely second the idea of Thirsty Pony for a good burger and beer. That McDonald's on the Causeway is dirty, slow and overpriced. I only go there if I'm in a bind or a hurry and can't get anywhere else.

And no doubt about it, if you're in Sandusky and want ice cream, you must go to Tofts!

I'm saying if you want ice cream go to Beaches and Cream inside of hotel Breakers facing the lake. Best milkshakes around.
