What's with the new format?

I like the fact that it is cleaner... but it all seems somewhat lifeless. Perhaps it will just take some time to get used to it (and I am sure the returning of the avatars will help). I like the path you have taken in terms of content. I've always thought it seemed pointless for things to just be replicated from the main site.

I'm an old guy who is getting to the stage in life where change blows. But, I'm not one to complain so let it ride and I'll get use to it!

Couple questions, will we get our avatars back? Also how do we come to the forum? The only was I know how to is to go to the new and then click discuss this at CP Place.

I miss the little star in the pointbuzz logo, but overall I really like the new look!

Here's a question... In "My Account" there's "Manage Your Photos." I haven't tried playing around with it, but does that imply you will be able to upload more than the one image you could before, or is that just the phrasing you used?

Some day, yes, I'd like to implement that.

I like the less cluttered look. It's much easier on the eyes. And I just knew someone was going to make a joke about the Geauga Lake thread going away!

My jury's still out, but I think tentatively I like the new version. I do find the ads embedded in the threads to be a bit annoying, especially since I paid for 'Premium' Pointbuzz. But I suspect I'll get used to it in a few days.

No just Pointbuzz. He said CB is far from having a makeover.

I like the orange background with the coaster in the top left and I also like the picture of CP on the bottom. The forum topics on my screen look away to big. Overwhelming and uncomfortable to look at. Is there anyway to make the font smaller when reading it? I also liked when it said where the person was from under their name and stuff. And where's my little drunkin-monkey picture?

I miss the recent topics section from the home page.

Changing the screen resolution helps :)

I don't mind the new format at all. I'd just like to see every new thread that's posted instead of going into specific topic. If you guys could work that out, it would be perfect.

All I have to say is... Wow. Nice job, Jeff and Walt. Now we all know what you've been doing living under a rock for so long. ;)

I think this new design and layout is pretty darn nice. I love the skyline at the bottom. Everything looks so much better.

I can't wait until even more stuff comes online on the new site!

I am at 1440 by 900 and the font in certain areas is just to large and does not fit in with the "Flow" of everything else. But yes normally screen resolution has an effect.

The only thing I am not liking, and it might just be me and my bad vision, but the light grey lines that define the individual posts are to light. In my eyes, everything sort of runs together. If those could be darker, that would be great:)

Others have mentioned it, but I am also onboard with not liking the "Re:".

One other thing that I don't like is the Title on each post. It is blended with everything and I think that every reply is about the same thing. I do like the new site just a few things that I have to get used to.
