I would definatly advice people away from zoone 34, but now that Mike's there, it cant all be bad.

I don't know if you guys are on crack or what but you know better than that. 34 has the best employees, the best stands, the best locations....lets just put it in simple terms and say that 34 has the best operation unlike other zones....cough cough 5/6 cough

Maybe I'm ignorant ;) but I can't say that I know that. Zone 5/6 had a great operation when Jenn Andree was our Area Manager. Note: remember, the training supervisors for last summer had been unites 61 and 51 the previous season!

Is there a Park map available that has the zones ? I here all this marvelous "zone spirit" coming from all of you, yet have no idea how to even find out who is where!

dinosaur------zone 34 runs from corral to the candy factory

Dinosaur--Zone 5/6 starts at Gristmill (near the Snake Water Bridge) and goes to Corkscrew Ref. (the nacho stand across from the Corkscrew exit.)

Ok...one more question...do I get to pick where I want to work (like Coasters) if I just sign up for food service? How do I do this, do I just wait for them to call me and then talk to them about it. Basically, how do I indicate on my application where I want to work?

ZONE 34 is the heart of the park basically put. Burger Patio, Corral, Surrey, Pretzel Gourmet, Imax Refreshments, Cold Drinks, Skyride Refershments, Coasters Diner, Dragons Inn, Chicken BBQ (R.I.P), and the Candy Factory, not to mention all the wagons in the Power Tower area and then vending operations...we are the hub of the park's food operations...no one can get through the park without running into us somewhere...we have the most pride, the most cohesion, and the most crazy fun. Sure we probably work a little bit harder and longer than the other zones cause we are so much busier than they are, but that is all a part of being ZONE 34...it isn't a designation, it's a privilege...

Oh and Nash, just cause you couldn't hack 34 doesn't mean you should be advising people away from it! :)

Well, Zone 5/6 is like a family. =) Sometimes we can be a bit disfunctional, but what family isn't =) Like a family, we've been through a lot together, and it creates an unbelieveable sense of comradery.

Hey gullivers queen, i agree the comradery is amazing, some zones are less disfunctional than others.......Zone 34 is the most amazing thing to watch....sometimes i felt like i was not needed cause everything was running so well, which opened me and others up to help the less fortunate zones

Oh and bravey, if you haven't turned in your application and you have somewhere you want to be, you can put that on your app that you are interested in a certain stand or whatever...or you can wait until they call you. If I were you and I had an idea of where I wanted to be I would just note it on the application so that the proper person can get the application and get back to you!

I think Hoov's will back me up on this one, but should we see if this person is a female so we know there worth fighting for?
