What to do?

I'm considering working at CP this summer and I really don't know much about it. I'm soon to be twenty and am looking for suggestions on what I should try and do there...or is it even getting to late to choose? (I need to apply ASAP, don't I?) Help me out...thanx.
Don't even consider anything that's not Restrooms.
Don't worry...you have time to apply. They are hiring even more people this year with the new hotel and all, but I would try to get your application in so that you are able to get your first choice of what you want to do. As for suggestions, you need to know that all of us on here will recommend our own departments. I myself work in Foods. It isn't for everybody, and if you don't like to work hard, then go to another department. But if you want to keep busy and make more money than everyone else, Foods is the place to be! Hope to see you up there this summer! Any more questions, and one of us will be happy to respond. Good Luck! :)
I agree with Heather! Foods is great if you like to work and you like people. You will really meet some great folks in Foods! ;)

Do you get to pick where you work in foods, or do they just assign you a place? If so, where's a good place to work?
You can specify on your application what positions you want, there is a number code for each job. Remember the resturants are always a blast!

to clarify what Nash said, if you put certain job codes on the application, then you would probably get that position. Say if you put the code for food host/ess, then you would probably get hired as a food host, then you get put somewhere, it should say on your contract when you get it where you are going to work.

You want to work somewhere in Zone 4 so that you can be close to the new ride... :)

(Hey it doesn't hurt to recruit now does it?)
I just got the application...so then which places are the best to work? (of the restaurants (sp?))
Hey bravey, where are you located?

The best resturant is, for working, would be the Silver Dollar. Its a great place, has good hours, and the workers are always a blast. Macoroni's is also a very good place to work. But for class, you cant pass up Breakwater Cafe, as a seasonal employee.

I'm an Ohio State student from Columbus..thanks for everyone's help by the way. Also, what does a housing supervisor do...or how about a laborer under maintenance...just curious.
IF you like the 50's diner style you could go to Coasters...it is a lot of fun and has air conditioning... :)
I agree with Dave....for all the fun and excitement, Stockade 2000 is the place to be!!
