I didn't say I needed a live band, but that show does. Without it, the show isn't worth the time. If I wanted to watch karaoke, I'd go to a bar, not Cedar Point.

I have to disagree because the other show in the snoopy theater (name?) doesn't have a live band and is singing popular songs and the show is awesome!
Live band =/= good or bad.
I once read the back of a book and said that the writing was bad so I would never read it.

Well another year of Halloweekends has come and gone. I must say the 13th AnniverSCARY was great! Let the countdown begin for next year! :)
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most!

A great recording can never replace a good live band. Must be nice to not be able to tell the difference.
Long time lurker who used to be JUMBO JET.
Well, I sat through the show this weekend. Still stand by my original statement. The performers are good, but the show, without a live band, isn't worth the time.

Does anyone know what any of the music used at the event was? Not the typical Halloween songs, but the music that was played for the Overlord's speech, any of the music from inside/outside of Toy Factory, the weird song that played in CarnEvil, it was a little girl singing and then it would be interrupted by a freaky sound...Any Eerie Estate sounds or music (did it have music? I know it had sounds, that was really cool!)
I know these might be special productions just for Cedar Fair, but if not, or if anyone knows how I can get a hold of them I would greatly appreciate it! I always like to have a collection of music from the events I attend. Brings back great memories and helps with the off season blues.

That song was so creepy! It was at Kings Island and it just creeped you out!
Let's Get Weird.
I know they have at least one song from the CD Nox Arcana - Carnival of Lost Souls that could be purchased from the Spirit Halloween stores. I know they mix music sources so the song you are looking for may or may not be on this CD. But there is at least one song that is for sure.

They need to condense FF. From what I have heard the area has been much improved over the last years, but simple observations from working there show it still needs help.
There is too much open space that isnt hit with fog or lights. There are a lot of spots where the people can avoid the "best" possible scare by simply diverting around the light.
I worked one night in FZ and the best noticable difference was that there were very few or very small blind spots, basicaly the people were forced to walk into the light/fog.

Thank you so much for the help everyone, keep them coming if you think of more!
I hope the Overlord music is on the soundtack! I loved waiting there, then the music would come on blasting and excitement filled the air. It was powerful! ;)
"^^That song was so creepy! It was at Kings Island and it just creeped you out!"
YES! What made it even more creepy is that I think she was singing about the Easter bunny lol I knew I should of taken a video in there so I could of had a recording of it, grr!
I am pretty sure it's on the soundtrack, I think it's the longest song on it, I can't recall the name but if you search for the soundtrack you can easily find it.
11 years.
I did a quick preview of each song on the soundtrack, but none of them sounded familiar. I downloaded the longest song, it's 9 minutes, just in case, but that's not it either, unless they really mixed it. The search continues!
I'm 99% sure it's on there, on one of the previews to the movie it has the song playing in the background.
11 years.
That doesn't mean it will be on the soundtrack or even in the final movie. It is fairly common for movies to use a song that will never appear in the film for the trailer.
Watchmen used "The Beginning is the End is the Beginning" from Smashing Pumpkins for their trailer, but it was neither in the movie nor the soundtrack.

I said 99% sure, I know they don't use them all the time, I'm just saying there is a good chance.

The music that the Screamsters march into before the Overlord comes out is from Carmina Burana, O' Furtuna I believe.
