If Lemon Chill guy is right I'd be happy about those for sure. Iron Dragon needs a change, either to the original scheme or something other than what it is now.
CP Coaster Top 10: 1. Steel Vengeance (40 rides to date) 2. Top Thrill Dragster (191 launches to date, 4 rollbacks) 3. Magnum XL 200 4. Millennium Force 5. Maverick 6. Raptor 7. GateKeeper 8. Valravn 9. Rougarou 10. Gemini
Speaking of VR on Iron Dragon, when do you think that might happen? Mean Streak is all the buzz on the forums right now when it comes to new things at CP, so when might VR be added??
It could be used as an off year project before something big planned for the following year.
As for an Iron Dragon colour scheme, they could do green and black to go with the trees it runs through. But, whatever the colours, it needs it badly!

You know VR already ran on Iron Dragon this summer as a successful trial, right? So to answer your question, I'm predicting 2016.
Check this out- Europa Park has two rides with VR. It's very successful from what I could tell. They chose to put it on 2 family rides, made it an upcharge attraction, and use ticketed reservations with return times. There's a separate queue, and riders are fit and prepped in advance of being seated in the train. There's also a corporate sponsor. On the two days I was there they only used half a train dedicated to VR, and on the ride that ran two trains only one train took VR riders. I rode both rides as a non-VR participant with little or no delay at all.
It was a darned near perfect way to do it, and I wish Six Flags had given this some thought before implementing a feature that allows for 7 minute dispatch times on marquis attractions. Hopefully other parks, including Cedar Point, will follow Europa's example.
Wicked Twister definetly needs a paint job. Power Tower could use it as well. Iron Dragon also needs a paint job. I'd like to see green track & black supports or vice versa to match the cars on Iron Dragon. Don't know "this one" for sure so don't quote me on it as a definite, but with Cedar Point Shores, I'm assuming that they'll probably paint Magnum during the off-season.

Yes, that is understandable about Magnum. However, I respectfully disagree, only because of the Soak City upgrades to Cedar Point Shores for 2017. The new slide complex will be placed right by Magnum. Also, the existing slides minus choo choo lagoon are getting painted. They were hard at work painting zoom flume the end of September. Also, the new kiddie section is going where choo chop lagoon is now. So with brand new slides, Magnum will probably be painted. Heck, they painted Raptor for Valravn, but it desperately needed it.

I could really think of a lot more stuff that desperately needs the parks attention over the large investment of repainting Iron Dragon. It may not be the best color scheme but it's hardly an eyesore.
Respectfully have to disagree with you, only because ketchup & mustard colors typically don't go with a dragon theme.
