I agree, if you look at Wicked Twister's original paint and Dragster's original paint compared to now, they could both really use it.

I still say Dragster needs it more than Twister, but wow Twister is faded a bit, however the colors still look good.
But wow, Dragster is dirty :P
I'll paint her haha, gimmie the harness, sounds like fun. You supply the paint, I'll supply the painting.

Or, management could wait to send the already-present paint crew home until after they repaint Dragster.. ;)
Painting Dragster will be interesting. I'm sure it presents a challenge to the painters because of it's height and tower configuration.

^ which was supposedly the reason it didn't happen last season.

^I don't know If it was too noticeable this season or not, but they were touching up the Raptor supports in some spots. Maybe Cedar Point will wait until the end of the season to have this company paint Raptor and Top Thrill Dragster. :)
It needs more than a touch up. Going up the lift hill you can see big peeled areas and it's getting some rust.
Needs mounted turrets more...but gulls are protected..sigh..

Another ride that needs it in my opinion is Maverick. The supports almost look white now and the track (especially where it swoops down by the pond) is just nasty. I think it needs it the most.
At WCO last Saturday, I asked about paint jobs and the tour guide said that Raptor was painted about 5 years ago. It looks way longer than that to me. I originally asked him about TTD. I would've asked Jason but I didn't think of it until we walked past TTD. Anyone remember Raptor's last painting?

I remember Raptor's painting, it seems longer than 5 years to me, maybe 8 or 9 years? I think the ride was repainted only once, if the paint job was 5 years ago, it would have been 16 years on the original paint. Seems too long to me.

Raptor was painted prior to opening 2001 season.
Which was over 10 years ago! Raptor, along with TTD need serious paint jobs. CP tends to lack on keeping certain rides looking fresh.
One might also make a case for Wicked Twister getting a fresh coat of paint.

I spoke with Jason about this at last years Coaster Mania. He was well aware of the rides that need new paint. He spoke specifically of TTD, Raptor, WT and Mantis(!). All were on the road map. He also spoke of the difficulty of painting TTD and that it would probably be a multi year project.

One thing about the CP rides that need paint is that they are just faded and oxidized. Much worse would be rides that show a lot of rust, that just looks old and unmaintained. Rusty rides are not a problem at CP, so I don't think the presentation is all that bad until the rides are painted.

I thought MF was just painted in the last few years. The park posted this today:

Could they just be touching up where track repairs were made? Or April fools?
