What does this mean for Terror Island?

If you want to make sure people can't get from the ride exit back to the rest of the park, then yes, there is enough room there.

Guests are having trouble leaving Wooden Coaster 1...

I also think that there is plenty of room between the ride exit and ride entrance to add temporary queues. You could probably even put the queues for the Haunted House itself outthere too.

I'm just going to assume you've never been to CP, or at least, never been back to the MS mini-midway.

How about this:

They'd remove about half of the line queues from Mean streak, the half not removed would be where guests would wait to get into the haunted attraction. The half removed would be space for the attraction itself.

Those who would want to wait for mean streak itself would wait in temporary line queues on the outside of the ride...this is assuming the crowds for mean streak aren't enormously large during HW.

I always thought it would be cool if they took all of the Camp Snoopy rides and scattered them in areas throughout Millennium Island, while making Camp Snoopy's current area the new coaster! But I guess that won't happen any time soon! :)

The crowds for MS are, surprisingly, enormously large during HW. Most times I've gone on Saturdays, unless I ride it fairly early in the morning, I won't get to ride it that day (because I refuse to wait more than 15min.). Yes, the entirety of that line will fill up on a HW Saturday for a very good part of the day, and there is not enough room to hold a significant portion of what is held in the infield queue outside of the ride structure on the path. However, the ability of guests to see that it has a very long line before reaching it could have the result of "naturally" keeping the line from overflowing too much. I think part of the reason the line gets as long as it does is because you can't see the line in the infield from the railroad crossing.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

WOW. Honestly, I didn't think the queue was ever that full. I guess there really wouldn't be enough space for an external line area then! Haha.

Your theory about the line building up mainly because they can't see how long it is is a valid point, however. I can't see the line being that large if it was on the outside of the ride (and visible to those not in line yet). Actually, I think that would be a huge turn off, so much so that the line wouldn't even come close to what it normally would be.

Ive been going for 20 years and everytime Ive ridden Mean Streak so Im not sure what you are suggesting. I on the other hand am not suggesting you could replicate the amount of queues that are in the infield but there is plenty of room to add them on a "mini-Midway." I also think about how much space is utilized for a haunt like the old Asylum/Mortuary and you probably wouldnt even have to destroy all the queues on the infield or could build more on the infield that better utilizes the space. The bottom line Im trying to get to here is that this is entirely feasible and could be done should CP really want to do it.
