What do you miss the most?

I don't know whether or not this has been brought up before.

I know we all miss our home (Cedar Point) like crazy, but I was just wondering what you miss the most at this moment. I miss going over the peak of Millie's first hill first thing in the morning, and I miss standing in line for Magnum and looking up through the trees at TTD and watching rollbacks. Ooh, I miss everything and just want to go back there!

(This is about what you miss the most about the past season, or would like to do now, not about the defunct rides you want back. I think that was another topic)

I miss being part of the stampede of people rushing through the gates in the morning. I miss the smells of the midways, and the cool lake Erie breeze. Since Meanie is my favorite ride, I miss the hill without trims. I miss people-watching and seeing all my friends there. I wish everybody a merry christmas.

I definitly miss goin to work in the morning and waiting for my carpenters to finish their work and when they finally do i miss them giving me their daily reports and jokes! I also miss starting Mean Streak up in the morning, hearing her squeal around the course and come back into the station ready to go :). But the thing i miss the most is test riding every morning

18 straight years of real thrills and counting...

I miss the atmosphere of Dragster's station at night, watching the rollbacks and hoping we would finally get one(we never did). I also miss walking the empty midway back towards the entrance after a perfect day of coaster riding. I think that what I miss the most are the incredible night rides on Millennium Force. I could use one of those right about now to blow off some of this holiday stress.

I also miss that moment when TTD just opens after downtime, and I'm near the front of the line formed outside the queue entrance, and I get to follow the first few people through all those empty queues and go right to the station...

Especially at night....

I miss the Magnum crew! You know who you are!

Although I only had 88 rides for the year, I still got to know the crew pretty well.

I hope to see you all next year.

Like said before, the whole atmosphere is what I miss. I miss Magnum alot too, over this year it was what I kept riding more of until about the last 2 months, thats basically all I rode. I miss the crew on Dragster and Magnum too, Sadly a few of my buds on the Magnum Crew won't be back this year, thats a bummer for sure.

Four months! That's a long time without coasters!

Which is why I'll be at Disneyland and DCA at the end of February...

It's not war, famine, or pestilence; it's only downtime.

I miss going to a place to forget my worries for a few days. I miss walking around with my wife going back and forth asking "Now what do you wanna do?" Oh, and of course the rollercoasters rock too...

------------------
But then again, what do I know?

I miss everything. From the roller coasters to kiddy kingddom. From Gold to Commons. From Johnny Rockets to the employee cafeteria. The thing I miss the most though, is when I met a friend on the "wicked twister midway." Then we would always seem to go on the same rides, for what we had time for. We wouldn't get there until at least seven. And walking around, and almost watching the laser shoer everytime! Yup, never saw the whole thing! Awaiting May...

I miss most the drive down there... Not the first 2 1/2 annoying hours, but the last 30 minutes.. The excitement builds and builds and builds.... and then you go over the Edison bridge and off to your left is the park......... and the excitement level, adrenaline level and pulse go up (and so does the speedometer, heh)..... and I know I'm only 15-30 minutes away from a coaster at that point!

I miss everything about the park but most of all the atmosphere around Dragster, it was full of energy when it was running like a charm.

Understand Ben, I am also from Lansing. Isnt the speed limit across the Edison bridge 90 mph?? :-)

I loved seeing the spotlights from 20-30 miles away for Dragster.

Every time I smell roasting almonds at the mall, I think of Raptor entrance..... :-(
