Its possible that they could ship items but more likely everything was repurposed for other houses at Knott's. When it comes to props and scenic elements, the park will reuse them in a thousand different ways or store them for future use. Plus the cost to ship items is likely more than it is for Cedar Point to just purchase their own since the majority will be bought at yard sales and antique stores. The house itself (walls, flooring, etc) will be thrown out if needed and the rest will be reused in the future. The walls for the most part are built as "flats" just like on a movie set and are made to come apart and be reused, especially in the case of Knott's where many of their houses are removed and rebuilt each year unlike at Cedar Point where they keep most up all year long. The design/creative process could have changed since I last worked at the park but this is typically the way it is done across the industry (with Universal occasionally being the exception).
