Why would something like that need to be posted? And by posted I assume you mean on the website?
If the park decided to do away with contracts, it would not benefit them by posting that on the job site. Rather just tell employees on the phone when they are called. And even then the majority of new employee's aren't even going to know the park used to have contracts, only returning employees would.
So I disagree with you, Brandon. A decision like that does not need to be posted or "said". And why would Steve expose his reliable source, especially on here. That would just be dumb.

Nope, definitely heard from a reliable person that there won't be a bonus or contracts this year.Who's your reliable source? Because I'm sure if it were true, it would have been said or posted somewhere.
Reliable enough, I don't have to reveal everything to everyone on here. When you all find out that I'm right, I'll come back and let you kiss my ---. Anyway, it's a lot more reliable than your source about not being allowed to ride rides on break.
So let me get this stright from all this reading.... You guys complained and cryed that what Cedar Point was doing with less then min. wage and a bonus was against the law. Most of you stated that you all still wanted to work at Cedar Point, as long as you paid you a legal wage. So Cedar Point listened to you, made its wage legal.... and look what you did to yourselves in the process, you got a pay cut!!! LOL talk about ironic!! Listen if you want to work at Cedar Point, do it for the right reasons... and Money really should not be one of them. If you want to make friends, have fun at a job, work outside in the summer weather, and gain a good experience on what its like in the working world then you should work at CP and accept its faults, again noone is holding a gun to your head to work there. I am guessing they will have NO proplem finding employees this year, since they are probably the only company in the state hiring 7000 employees, CP and KI.
^I doubt that some posters on PointBuzz complaining about the mistake on the CP website that showed the wrong wage is the reason they took away the bonus. I'm pretty sure the decision was done with the company's best economic interest in mind, not just so they could stick it to those pesky PointBuzzers.

Well if you have such sources, you should say, even in a message. Because no source that you know can be strongly reliable. It's all in grey right now as to what the park will do. You don't need that cocky attitude of yours that no one likes, about kissing your fat ***. And it's in RIDES that you can't ride rides on break. Get over that, christ already.

There's no point in outing whoever told me. It's called honesty and loyalty. The person who told me has been right on several things before, so I trust them to be right on this. Either way, it doesn't matter one bit if there are contracts or not. The only reason there were ever contracts in the first place was because of the bonus, and now that the almighty CP is getting cheap and eliminating it, it'll be fun come August when every crew has about 6 people. And I honestly don't care if some people don't like my cockiness. Get over it.
And dont act like a jerk that you are when all I asked was a simple question. And though your "source" has been right in the past doesn't always mean they will be right. My sources have told me wrong things, oh well.
And it's possible that the bonus hasn't been decided yet. I mean, they just finally put the new hourly pay up. It's possible there is no bonus. We'll have to see.

Or, and maybe this seems silly, perhaps they will raise the wages in August-October for anyone who wants to stay on if/when they sense a shortage.
^Which could and probably will happen. But I would think by then it would be to late (at least by Sept).
Or they could just wait for the 2 week notices to start and pick up and then do damage control before its too late.
The bonuses are no longer mentioned on the job site page that I linked to in my post back on page 15. So, CP has apparently taken the time to update more than just its web page. So, I vote that Deep Throat is probably reliable.
Is it that hard to imagine CP eliminating the bonus? It's a dumb move, but they've made a lot of dumb moves recently. I've heard from the same source RaceRinger has heard from about the contracts. It's good enough for me.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
I would be willing to bet that his source is the same source that told you about skyscraper last year brandon. What makes it less reliable now?
2007,2008 Ripcord
Anyone can come on here and say they have a source. It's that easy. So what if I questioned who his source was? Big deal. Snake River Falls was supposed to be gone, too.

That would be nice if the employees actually gave a 2 week notice, heck even a 1 week notice. Id say less than 3% of those who quite actually give a 2 week notice. In fact, I can count on one hand the employees who gave a 2 week notice last summer to me and I would have 3 fingers leftover.
