It looks like King's Island is getting something a little extra with their Windseeker, or atleast starting early for next year.

The Teaser made me laugh... by the look of the picture they posted a few weeks ago what ever its going to be VERY large. so I imagine its for 2012 but construstion will probally begin this season. I'm exited to see what it is myself!

Hopefully this means that they'll let everyone know what the fate of SOB will be? I guess we'll know for sure if we start seeing the wrecking ball come in.

ahh I dount this has anything to do with SOB sadly. the area of this new "attraction" is no where near SOB but actually right behind Windseeker this is the origional pic they posted "with a little color bleed done in photoshop to show detail.

First thing I noticed is Kings Island if finally getting a map done in the style on all the other Cedar Fair parks. Secondly the map is folded over the part of the park where SOB sits and his hand is covering it. could this mean its back on the map? maybe! we hopefully will hear an announcement regarding SOB soon, but not with the 3/18 announcement.

I have the 2010 KI map and the 2010 CP map on our fridge. They are both the same style of map. Unless you're referring to something different?

I wish Cedar Fair would print full, poster size maps of all the parks as they do with CP. I still have a number of full size maps of Kings Island from its first decade, and they are all treasures.

I wish I was alive to witness King's Island back in those days. I stillthink it is great today, but I would love to see it back when it firstopened.

My memory is tinted by nostalgia, and I was only a small child when the park opened, but it was definitely an amazing experience in those years. And not that I'd sacrifice some of the current gems like Beast, Flight Deck, Adventure Express and Diamondback to have things the way they used to be. But it'd be nice to have a little bit of that old flavor and atmosphere back.

To make some extra money, they should set up a remote control wrecking ball and charge people to take a wack at s.o.b.
