If this thing does have inversions, I wonder what kinds we will see. Corckscrews, in-line twists, loops, barrel rolls or even something different like a cutback?

Yeah, i was wondering the same thing TTD.
But the track pieces they have so far don't give much away, except for a possible in-line twist
Suddenly there are a lot of people that are now incredibly psychic...or purchased a GREAT Magic 8-ball. How else would they know exactly what's going on. :)
My guess on this whole new direction and blazing new path is that the current path between the antique cars and the old WWL ride platform will be rerouted.
I also think this new coaster will either share (go over) or take over the area current occupied by the antique car ride back there !!!!
That explains the 'new direction' and 'blazing a new trail idea'. I sure hope the blazing doesn't mean removing more tree's !!!!

Which was the greatest time of my life!!
Oh, by the way, I only state the obvious! ;)
I feel so "tunneled" under.
It's great that CP is getting another new coaster and that everyone is "heels over head", (looper implied). But why all the back and fourth on the tunnel, looper, 500ft remarks.
It's getting pretty boring reading the same post over and over again. Reason why I don't post much, I have nothing to really add to the topic, just like this one, I'm just taking up some of your time as you sit and read this post.......
Anyway, looking forward to CP announcement of just what exactly this railly beast will be.
I'm thinking myself (or hoping perhaps) that this new ride turns out to be similar to X at Six Flags Magic Mountain....that would be sweet! CP needs a couple of coasters going to keep ahead of that park for the most coasters record anyhow....
I now have to say that I also think that water will be involved.
New Season of 'The Office'. TONIGHT!!!
