I must be weird for only checking the webcams once every couple weeks or months.
It's not just you.
I should note that four years ago, I was getting upset about this same thing though. The webcams were pointing towards the best ride in the park though. :)

It's pointing in the original position when the cam was put up. Wow, it doesn't even look the same compared to what it looked like a year ago. Well I guess that what 12 months of hard work does to an area.

Yeah, I wish it was still pointing at the station because I really want to see the progress on it and I am guessing they are putting fence up because it it is so low to the ground and they don't want anyone to get hurt (but who would go back there and be dumb enough to get near the track)seriously, I guess they are just being extra cautious.

In reality Brice, there's not really much to see anymore. Before they took the cam off the station, we pretty much saw the extent of what it'd look like. The only thing that would be different would be the ramp out of the station, the sides of the station and the finishing of the beginning of the tunnel.....which are all pretty much done now.
I'm glad they pointed it back to the layout. Now we can get a good look at testing.

Man, the canyon around the heartline looks MASSIVE!!! I wonder what kind of fence they are putting around the low parts of the ride? It looks like they've put up the orange construction mesh while they wait on material. It also doesn't look like it will be the same fence that lines the RR track. Interesting.
