BTW, the new midway is starting to look good. You're going to be able to walk up pretty close to the launch track!

Was out at Battery Park today, got to see some short shots. Train made it to the top then rolled back. Quite an interesting sight.

As I was looking at the PT cam you can tell that they have the fence up along the transfer track by the queue.

Be patient, they only started testing full curcuit today. It was running full circuit yesterday. If you watched the webcam long enough (5 minutes or so) you would see evidence of it.
Just because nobody posted absolutely reliable, undisputeable, photographic proof doesn't mean it wasn't happening.

I've been following this site for some time, but all of the bickering for credit as to who gets the first "credit" for seeing the first train go over the top is driving me crazy. Big D wins.
There are no "kicker wheels" that far back. It would have also taken over 1 minute to roll a train that far back if there were indeed "kicker wheels" (AKA drive wheels) that far back.

I really appreciate this site, but I hate to surf through all of the "know it all opinions" just to get the real news.
Now that I think of it, the first person to see the train go over the top was probably the person pushing the launch button.
So, I guess we all loose.

I have a question. Is Jack Lewis just Big D’s second name he made on 4/20 to try and get “the prize” for seeing the first train go over the top? It is just very curious to me that “Jack Lewis” used his very first post at 4:37 am to MAKE SURE everyone knows that Big D has won the prize. I am probably wrong, but Big D just seems like the middle school kid “type” that would do this. He did seem to want the “win” in his earlier posts. We may never know. P.S. I know. I use “” too much.------------------

WOWOWOW...WAAA???????
Dude, What the hell are you making stuff up about me??? Youy dont know Squat. I dont care about who "wins the prize" whats the difference?. I was just saying i thought my images setlled it already. Do i really care?..NO. Sheesh, We are still going to all see it run arent we?. Please Dont make up BS about me. Besides you had no evidence whatsoever to link me to jacklewis...I tried to look into his posts and see HOW you could have made that assumption. Please Coaster king, If you dont know something, Dont jump into conclusions.
Jack Lewis is right, The person who Pressed the launch button is the first person to see it go over.

"I thought my images settled it already :\ ..guess thats not good enough for some people. Some people are just too skeptical."
