Nope because it hasn't gone over the top.

So it has to go over the top in order to be past the top-hat? Gee didnt know that. He wants a picture of a train past the top hat so why not just give him one of a train at the breaks??
No I ment on the tophat or on the pull out or on the twist on the way down.

At least it has been confirmed that they WILL be going over the top this week.

How do you know that?

Anyone know what is up with the 6th train not being on the tracks yet? I have only seen five at the most.

Don't know why but this picture makes me think this:

Train has completed the circuit for the first time Succefully.

There are no kicker wheels that far back. Also the train was standing on the launch one minute and with the next refresh it was standing on the brakes.

I'm not so sure on this one, But i have a link to a pic that shows how far the kicker wheels go.

The train has been sitting there about 10 minutes. I wonder if they are pulling it backwards through the brake run to check for clearance of the the brake fins. It might not have been shot over.
Photonix what would be pulling it back? I see no crane or anything.

It is just wierd that the train is sitting on the brake run and barely moving. It moved a car length in ten minutes. The brakes would of let it crawl through the brake run at a slow rate but not that slow.

Couldn't they of just used a winch or something to pull it up the brake run? They probably did shoot it over but it is still wierd that it is just sitting there. I hope they didn't have a clearance problem with the brake fins, that might cause a delay in the opening. Or maybe the fins just need to be adjusted to a different height.

You could see a couple of guys at the front of the train a minute or two ago.

At about 5:30 pm today. I saw it with my own eyes from the snoopy boutque area. It went up and over the top. It was really cool to see.

It definately was shot over. You should have looked at the other cams :)

Did anyone grab an image? I would love to see it and I can host.

Edit: Yep, you guys are right, they are going over the top. They did it again but the cameras didn't catch it in action. They must have adjusted the brakes because it got through the brake run faster this time. :)

How often are they shooting one over? I saw the last time when it was in the break run and followed it to where it is right now but its just been sitting there for about 5 or 6 minutes now.

Hey Jeff, has any thread gone on as long as this one?

I seems to be a record breaking year here, too.

Now maybe we can finally put an end to the stupid "TTD isn't going to open on time" rumors. Glad to see that it is finally going over the top.

Mr. Scott I can answer that yes another topic has gone longer. The old Web Cam thread. Yes there was one before this.
