Web Cam Activity and Testing..Oh My!

Just what we need...FOG! Right now you can see NOTHING in the Power Tower cam, just the parking lot in the TTD cam, and in the ground cam you can only see the part of the tower below the station's roof. Right now the blue train is sitting just before the turn-around and the guys are doing something with the two trains visible (can't tell which ones) in the station. It looks like they could start the real testing today! Let's hope this fog lifts soon so we can see those trains go over the top during the tests!

When I checked the cams a bit ago, I noticed the thick fog...in fact, on the ground cam, you couldn't even tell there was a tower at all. Eerie...if you didn't see the PT or Breakers cams at all, you'd wonder what happened to the tower

That is really eerie since i live like 30 minutes away and the sun is shinning and you would never think that it would be that think of a fog at the point.

Well, the fog has lifted a bit and from the Power Tower cam you can see there is a train in the launch position. I hope they do start testing today, but right now from the ground cam it looks like they're doing further work on the station.

Relax. The ride has not launched at full power over the top yet.

Which is not to say they haven't done the incremental power launches...

I was just looking at the web cam, and it looks like a train just now hit the brake run. Damn, I didn't get the link in time, it is gone now.

Now I am not generally one to be like, "Oh my God! I see something! AHHH!"

But, there is a lumpy-lump towards the top of the tower, underneath of the triangular shaped top part. (Looking at the Demon Drop cam.) The lumpy-lump is a little offcentered. . .but could it be one of a set of the tower lights maybe?

Or I am just drunk, one or the other.

What are you talking about? The camera doesn't show motion. You can't tell if it's still or moving. You can't tell if it was moved with kicker wheels or bounced over the top.

Why do they have the crain with a bucket on the end with people in it? Are they painting because i thought they finished doing that on the 7 towers or are they putting lights up on the top of the station?

This is a picture from the power tower web cam of what I think might be the countdown lights but might also just be some aircraft lights. Sorry if these are the aircraft lights. they have been moving the trains around like crazy the past few minutes.....back and forth back and forth....my guess if they will launch one over tomorrow on the 1 month mark to go....

hrmmmm someone correct me if I'm wrong...are those countdown lights and the train in the launch posistion?

Those are aircraft lights. Those lights have been discussed many times.

I think it's been stated numerous times that those aren't the countdown lights. As far as the train is concerned, I can only see a train on the transfer track to the left of the launch track.
