Web Cam Activity and Testing..Oh My!

There are some green lights on the beach cam far over to the right. At first I thought they were the green countdown lights at the bottom of the tower but then I relized that the lights are too far down on the tower to be the countdown lights. Does any one know what these lights are?
I just noticed a reddish structure recently built which appears between the station and the photo shop in the ground cam. Would this be the control booth?

No, the control booth stands on the far end of the loading platform (looking from the ground cam) It´s a small booth with a flat roof.

look at this dfrawing: http://www.topthrilldragster.com/public/inside_park/rides/thrill/ttd/specs/images/Arialview_big.jpg

I think what you mean is the structure standing on the platform which is checkered in black and white with a red flag on top of it... I don´t know how to call it but I think that´s what you mean...

The renderings aren't always exact. Yes that is the control booth.

There will actually be 2 operator positions in the loading station. The main one is in the front, but that new reddish structure is a second one, I would assume for the sole purpose of controling the 2nd train in the station.

I noticed in the Power Tower cam that they've begun work on the grandstands. The diagonal beams going up give you an idea of how high the bleachers will go.

I wasn't sure what those black floating orbs were under the station canopy when there were only two. I thought they might have been something in the background. Now that there are four, I think they might be lights. They could also be speakers, but my guess is lights.

Shakes head in disbelief.... Did anyone else catch that?

Catch what? ...

- that SteelRaptor repeated what I said word for word?

-or, that the topic had already been discussed?

I don't know actually. Why did Steelraptor repeat you?
I don't really know why he repeated it.. It didn't really make any sense to me. Oh, well, I'm sure there's something better to discuss by now anyway.
Looks like they've completed part of the "maze" in the queue area.

Now the stands are clearly visible so check it out, plus the "maze" and photo building are really coming along too.
I'm not really seeing this "maze" are you talking about like rails/lines being set up on the que inside the oval?

When I look at the webcams I see one train in the station right now and one on the transfer track..... That's -4 trains...where are the other four hiding?
Dude, You dont have to post twice. We can see. You might want to look better or check your vision. There are 2 trains in the station and 2 on the transfers. I'm not sure where the other 2 are. You do know that there is only 6 trains...not 8.

All the trains have been put up on the track. Probably out of the view of the webcams.

Now don't take this as fact, but I heard that they had a problem with some clearance on a train and they have to replace the fiberglass. A guy who is retired from CP and now has his own shop in Sandusky has been brought in to make repairs on the damaged train and redo the others before opening day. He is supposedly working 7 days a week and 12 hours a day.

tambo

I sure hope not, but this just goes to lead me to believing that they know what they are doing. Imagine doing a "full-fire" test like other people on here were screaming about and it did some real big damage. They you wouldn't ride for even longer. Just chill, enjoy the snow, wait for summer and get ready to ride.

Tambo...If all the trains are identical. How come they are doing clearence tests all the time anyway. If there was a problem, They would stop testing until it has been fixed. I really hope there isnt any problems.

Actually, only 5 trains have been put on the track. That may be why some people seem to be getting confused while looking at the webcams.
