Web Cam Activity and Testing..Oh My!

It's the perspective at which it's shown.
Chris, theres quite a bit of distance between the two rides. Its more of an illusion. The farther away you are from an object, the smaller it seems.

D/\MN GINA!!!!!!!!

i know that, that is common sense, but its not like they are miles and miles apart...
The webcams don't give a perfect picture, it's a bit ditortorted too. Look at the pic from the 3rd cam, it looks like TTD is going to fall over. Plus, even tho it doesn't seem like it, PT is a little over 1/2 a mile away from the hill. When I was in the park, I was far away, it didn't look that big, but being that far away will trick you, it is huge!

I blew that pic up a bit in an image app, and the sign taped to the wall actually looks like a copy of the cam image of infamy....

It looks right now they're rolling around the blue train near the turnaround and this time it has both the wheels and spoiler on it.

I love that picture from the 27th. Seeing the yellow train on the track, with the 420 foot hill, looks so cool. It's a great picture. I made it my wallpaper. Now I know opening day is really getting near. I must say though, the train looks more gold in color than yellow.

I should've put this post in the "New Picture" topic, not this topic. Ooops! My Mistake. I'll put it there too.

I agree, i saw it and said, "Thats the yellow train?" I'll just end up calling it the Gold train now!
Click here to see some saved web cam Photos. NOBODY, IS pushing or pulling these trains.

Ok?...is that supposed to tell us something?, I dont get it

If your talking about the kicker wheels on the track that push the train back and forth, you cant see them.

YES. They are all over the place - where do you think these ended up:

Robby, do you even know what kicker wheels are? They have not started testing full-circuit yet... read Monty Jasper's latest construction diary entry. They are simply moving the trains back and forth on the track, but not up the top hat. The kicker wheels (which are mounted "in" the track) can move the trains backwards as well as forwards.

The hydraulic system is operational and we have moved the trains around the station, testing the drive tires and other components. So we’re easing into a full-firing test of this incredible scream machine.

I noticed on the PT webcam this afternoon some markings on the midway. I would guess this is preliminary for the grandstands.

Yea thats the footprint for the grandstands. Look at the Midway near there, The Path is REALLY narrow.

Robby, That gave me a laugh...How do you think the train would get from the unload to the load station, The train would just keep moving and the ride ops would tell people to jump off?. Something has to push the train.

Guys, go easy on the kid, he's just excited.... and i've actually counted the # of kicker wheels they had before they installed them... I'll just say it's plenty to move the train all around where we've seen it.... They have to test the blocking system somehow before they launch anything
Wow, that area is looking like it's going to be terribly crowded. Between the grandstands narrowing the midway, lines for the snackbar, lines of people with loose articles being turned away from Corkscrew's entrance, and the TTD entrance being closeby to the right of the snackbar under the grandstands, that's a lot of factors that are going to lead to a bottleneck. It's looking like my walk to the cafe is going to take substantially longer this year! ;)

Does anyone know how I can see the webcam at night, when I try to load the images it has the archived photo on it.
