Wait for the front: A trial run
It's weird that you all talk about assigned seating, but on the (count them) two rides I got last year, I was under the impression that they let 36 people into the station at one time. So, if your the first person of the 36 person group you get your pick. Am I way off becuase I was never told where to sit.
I have never been told where to sit I just walked through. Also this was after a pretty long wait too.

So w/ so many people waiting for the front to you think the wait time will be reduced significantly for someone who just wants to sit anywhere on the train?

IT WORKED GREAT!!! We went yesterday (Sat) and waiting for teh front worked out very well. Upon entering the station, they even told us that the only seat we were allowed to wait for was the front, and gave us an estimated time as to how long it woudl be..:)

This has me SO excited... I can get deliberately get a front car ride on the force in again before any special ERT or MM-type event!

I was at the park on Saturday and the waiting for the front and back seemed to be working very well. Whoever made the decision to do this, THANKYOU. Now if you want the front or back, you have the chance. Congrats to the crew by the way for keeping the line moving, it is amazing how efficient CP is at moving people through their lines-GREAT CREWS.

2 people ahead of me got the last spot on MF and that left me being FIRST on the next train :) flipping out, I raced to the first seat when I got up there, there was a line going on! and me being with a crowd of 13, i couldn't wait there for it...shucks.... oh well, got the first train second row thingy and seat 2

This has me so excited even though i have already had front twice last year! im going thursday, are they still going to be letting people wait for the front? is it permanent?

Word, JS! I finally got to sit front seat, and it was worth the extra 15-20 minute wait!
First off I would like to thank my parents for supporting me, Cedar Point for allowing me to wait for the front, my friend Lauren for putting aside her fears and riding with me, all the producers, directors, the mayflies for being so tasty, ....... ;)

There was no line for the back on my 2 rides. I was kind of surprised.

No Cp isn't using the TTR this year. I went yesterday and had about an hour and 15 min wait. Sat in the back and didn't have to wait at all. The front had some people lined up for it but other than that it was just normal.
