Vertical Construction Has Begun!

They are continuing like it has been going in order.

Usually, the last piece before the brake run is the last to be installed.

Does anyone know where exactly the on-ride camera will be on the ride?

Yea, at that one spot before that other spot. :)

That's something that nobody will know until testing starts. I'm sure the park has an idea of where they'll put it, but we wont know till May.

Where would you want to see the on-ride camera be?

Probably at the bottom at the lift hill's rollover.

If they could I would like see our faces as we enter the keyhole.

I was thinking it would probably be easy to just mount it to one of the towers.

Anyone see the new pic Cedar Point posted on their facebook page? It is taken from the top of the lift looking back toward the park. GOCC also posted a few cool shots. But after seeing that one image, it made me realize how awesome it would be if the lift hill faced the opposite direction. I think that's a really cool view, and I would rather have that than a view of the parking lot. Oh well, it's still gonna be a great ride.

Ugh, that's a lot of parking lot.

Give it time. There's still 3 1/2 months to go.

Does everyone only look straight ahead when going up a lift hill? I agree that the parking lot isn't exactly the greatest thing to look at but at least the view on the left side of the train when ascending will be amazing. Very few amusement parks offer such a great open-air view of water going all the way to the horizon. With how close the ride is to the beach, it will seem as if you are on climbing over the water similar to Millennium Force.

The right side of the train isn't all that bad with the view of Gatekeeper's overall layout and Sandusky Bay on the far side of the park. I'm also thinking that you won't see a whole lot of the parking lot while climbing the the 40 degree angle of the lift anyway unless you're in the front row.

I'm trying to picture where the queue is going to be based on that picture. It'd be kinda cool if the entrance was in that area between Wicked Twister and the ride and most of the queue was along the beach. With that setup, you be able to see the entrance sign from the games midway instead of having it tucked around the corner.

But on the other hand, it might be even better to have that as open space or dining area so that you can go right up to the beach without getting in line for the ride.

Based on the picture Maverick posted? The queue line will start near the middle of the picture in front of Gatekeeper where it turns. You can actually see some square things which is where the line will be and it goes underneath Gatekeeper and splits in two and goes up in the station from two sides
