Maybe I just think that would be one of the last things they would do before testing
i would think they would need the large crane to get the chain to the top of the hill. So they may be doing that before the crane is moved/disassembled
After looking at the stills from the web cam, it does look like they are putting in railings too.

Is it just me, or is Gatekeeper totally gorgeous? It makes Raptor look like craptor, Twister looks blah. Even Blue streak with a similar paint job looks plain. Looking at photos of wild eagle and x-flight, they look bland compared to gatekeeper.
GateKeeper is going to be a beautiful ride. I think it was the perfect choice for that area.

I can almost guarantee that Wild Eagle's station will remain a triumph over pretty much any coaster station built for the foreseeable future.

Agreed, absolutely. Wild Eagle's station exterior is nicer than some hotels. They did a great job with it.

I'm not exactly sure how they do it but I'm pretty sure it's not with a crane. Perhaps Mr.RidemanDave can better answer this. :)

Wild Eagle's station is certainly impressive. Do we have any info at all on the plans for Gatekeeper's station? Renditions? Or is it one of the few mysteries left?

GK is pretty, but so was Raptor when it was built and just about every other ride right after construction. Give it time, the seagulls have a new huge target to leave their mark, along with mother nature.
The coaster looks great, especially right along the water. Millenium, TTD, and Magnum are the most visually striking coasters in the park but once the key holes are finished above the entrance, GK will be right up there with them
Dollywood spent $250k on the eagle sculpture alone. I imagine the station was not cheap.

Yep, Dollywood is definitely on my to do list of parks. Been in that area lots about 10 years ago but not since then. Remember they would stop you on street for a condo speil and said for 60 of your time they would give you tickets to Dollywood. Man, would love that today. But I really do want to ride/visit the most expensive ride/station out there :0
I was thinking a couple million. I can't imagine CP putting that much into a station but what do I know.

Can one of you post a link of a picture of that Wild Eagle station?
