Coasterkyle, you want to know another song that's annoying is the one from Beyonce - Halo. That song gets annoying after a while. Sorry If I offended anyone by saying that.
Anyway, back to Valravn. I was confused about something. In that blog that Theme Park Press posted, Another significant piece of the puzzle is Valravn’s control computer, which sits in a large cabinet underneath the station. Does this mean this was installed back last year when they were doing groundwork?
There is still some good music out there today but its a lot harder to find...

I'm with people who like music from the 70's and 80's. I enjoy a number of different genres of music, rock & roll, jazz and country among others, but most pop, country and rock stuff coming out now is pure crap. Zac Brown Band is a notable exception with some solid song writers including Brown himself. Much of the mainstream stuff comes from a group of Swedes, led by Max Martin, who just pound out one generic pop song after another for use by popular contemporary performers. Songs like “Starships”, “So What”, “Toxic”, “Bye Bye Bye”, etc. all came from the group of Swedes and fall into the crap pile. Everything is done to a formula so these "artists" and songs can be mass marketed at the lowest cost. It's all crap.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
Oh, look, it's the semi-annual "Music Was Better in My Day" whine fest. ;-)
Through every generation, there has pretty much always been crappy pop music interspersed with truly unique, perhaps objectively "good" music. What makes music "good" to any one person has far, far more to do with how old they were when it came out rather than music actually having gotten progressively worse over the years. Someone born in the 60's will most likely think music from the 70's and 80's was the best, while someone born in the 70's will think the same of music from the 80's and 90's. People tend to "latch on" to music of their youth, and subsequently think everything that came out after (and sometimes before) it is "pure crap".
This conversation is as predictable as the complaints following a new ride announcement. :-)
