“We’re working on something very special for the queue line that’s never been done at Cedar Point before,” park spokesperson Tony Clark tells WKYC exclusively.
Two DJs? ;-)

I really wish they still used the MF DJ.

A virtual reality experience for waiting guests? It would be cool if there was an optional VR experience on Valravn.
I thought VR was the big secret but then I actually read the article and it said strictly for the queue
I believe Tony mentioned something in one of his Periscopes about Fun TV being interactive in the Valravn queue line. It sounded like you'd be able to vote for which music to play and "other fun things". I don't recall that ever being mentioned again anywhere.
That free WiFi will be handy. I bet it'll be a feature in the new phone app.
Sounds ok I guess.....but you know what would be even better? A big screen (ala Slingshots admission booth) that would be mounted on the side of Valravn's station or somewhere viewable from the queue area, where guests in the queue line can watch riders reactions (via webcam) from the top of Valravn's drop hill right before they plummet. That certainly would entertain me moreso than some music I might not even like. My 2c.
^ I like that idea and the idea of voting from your phone of what songs you might want to hear while waiting in line.
^ yes because teenagers have such great taste in music and you can never get enough of hearing "call me maybe".
^ Be careful of your absolutes. I'm 17 years old and practically only listen to music from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. I pretty much despise 90% of this modern day bull crap.

I'm 17 as well and I absolutely HATE my generation's taste for music. It is complete garbage. 70's and 80's were the best music decades IMO. Wish I could have been there.

The only idea that comes to mind is that there may be some type of interactive/playful activities to do while in line, much like Disney does with uber-popular rides like Seven Dwarfs and Dumbo.
Something like this:
Cedar Point's lines have rarely, if ever, been anything but monotonous waiting (aside from the aforementioned DJs). Something akin to this, while perhaps not to this extent, would certainly be something that Cedar Point has never come close to trying.
Then again, we were led astray with regards to Rougarou, so it's difficult to say.
Promoter of fog.

Since when are teenagers the only ones who have the power to vote for things? Also, IIRC, there was a different variety of music in each line last year. Not to mention, who even listens or cares about Carly Rae Jepsen right now? I couldn't tell you the last time I saw a teen listening to "Call me Maybe" ;)

CoasterKyle1121 & CoasterCam, much props to you two for your great taste in music. I hope CP continues to play some of the great tunes from those decades. I especially enjoy "Crazy on You" Heart and "Space Truckin" Deep Purple at Dodgem. Also you can't beat "Frankenstein" Edgar Winter during Halloweekends.
One of the few newer songs I like is that one by "Imagine Dragons" that they play in the vicinity of Iron Dragon.
