If the station stays, its NOT because Tony and Tyler said it was going to. If you remember correctly, they showed us some bogus landscape drawings on a trash can and said they were the plans for Skyhawk. Then they came back later and said it was just some piece of paper they made up. So, I wouldn't give any credibility to them calling attention to the station still being there.
Exactly. They are there to get you to go to the Point, plain and simple. They do whatever they feel necessary and get paid for it. Why believe marketers? I have no clue! :)
I think the structure will house a glass-enclosed, to-scale model of White Water Landing, including a tiny White Water station. And if you look in the tiny station, you will see an even tinier model of White Water Landing, also to scale. With the aid of a magnifying glass and an electron microscope, you will be able to follow this progression right down to atomic scale, at which point you will discover you are staring at your own navel. :)

Air conditioning in the queue would be nice, but I'm not sure that they would have to put walls up all around. At SFOG they had air conditioning in many of the lines, which involved vents over the line and it would just blow onto whoever was standing under it. There were enough of them that it was actually quite cool in line. It probably would be more efficient if it was enclosed however.
I still do not believe that WWL's station will be used for this coaster. I believe it will be involved in some other project (perhaps even another flume ride down the road).
