Update: What's New for 2007

As far as I'm concerned, the Chuck Wagon is the new Frontier Inn. That's where I'll be heading to relax in the back of the park from now on.

The took out my bowler roller! I mastered that game!!

I am looking forward to the new TGI Fridays now that they have the 70s and 80s themes.

I'll also be interested to see it. They have yet to renovate the Friday's by me.

They now have a Chick-Fil-A, Johnny Rockets, Panda Express, Starbucks,Ben & Jerry's and Tyson Chicken. When are they going to get some decent pizza? The stuff CP makes just sucks.

I never even knew where Chuck Wagon was until I just looked it up on a map. LOL!! It's a sit down restaurant?

The Fridays by you will eventually be renovated. The renovation demand was handed down from Fridays corporate and has to be completed by a certain date (I have no idea what that date is).

I went to a renovated Fridays in Auburn Hills MI. There was some good stuff from the 70's & 80's, but I did not like to overall look to it. Instead of the brass look, it is now more of a stainless steel look.

The food and spirits were still good though!

Can you see One-Eyed-Willie from the top of Magnum?

I thought it was illegal to sell ice cream other than Tofts in Sandusky. :)

Although I do hope they have the Stephen Colbert flavor. That stuff is really good. *** Edited 4/20/2007 4:00:24 PM UTC by Rider***

^^ "still good"? That implies it was good in the first place.

Based on CP's website adults can still ride Jr Gemini as long as they are accompanied by a child less than 54" tall. I think what changed was the minimum height. Didn't it used to be 32"

^^ Sure Fridays food is good.

Comparitivly speaking, Fridays has some of the best franchise food out out there.

Ain't no way I'm eating at a "remolded" TGIFridays. Otherwise, it looks like some great changes are in store.

OK, I'll bite. Why?

I'm not thrilled with all of the in-park franchise joints, but at the same time, the quality of the home grown food has been almost universally poor to mediocre for years. Clearly the new burger thing is a step in the right direction, as is the Tyson chicken thing provided they mean chicken breasts and not fused pieces parts chicken.

What is it going to take to get the real barbecued and grilled chicken breasts to come back that used to live about where the Millennium Force ramp is now?

Yeah! Bring back the old BBQ chicken place. They used to have ribs there too I think. The smell coming from that place was the best smell in the park.

As for the on-ride DVD's I bet we are looking somewhere around $20 a pop. What's $20 for a DVD when you are already paying $10 for a on-ride photo?

Thank goodness for Walt, we get more from him then Tony and Tyler...oh wait, they are busy again.

I'm all for remoldeled restaurants. But, I don't like original MOLD in restaurants. I certainly don't want REMOLDED restaurants.

"Come back to Friday's. It wasn't bad enough before...so we've REMOLDED!"

Oh, I get it now...I went back to the original post. Me thinks someone edited it. It was cute though. Walt knows I was kidding.

At that price, I'd be willing to buy it. ;) I want more coaster options, but for a first year run of things, not bad. They picked Raptor, my absolute favorite coaster, so that's a happy. ;)

Looking forward to Cedar Point- July 4th-5th, 2007!

Well, it's not like I compiled the list myself. Besides, the detail of this list goes beyond the scope of the blog.

Trust me, they have a lot on their plates. I doubt annoyed enthusiasts who feel they're "owed" an entry inspire them to drop everything to post one.

Chief: I did edit it. :)

I have a feeling it won't be in the 20 dollar range... I'm guessing more in the 29.95 range. I cant remember from when I worked there, but I'm guessing the prices will be comparable, if not slightly higher, than those of a Ripcord Video.
