It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?
I didn't want to get anyones hopes up, because I was just learning how to do it, but I have been doing Timer Lapse of Skyhawk using the webcam images. Including Media Day. :)

Now that I know what I'm doing, I only plan on doing perticular days, like Opening Day, Closing Day maybe 4th of July and such.

That's funny Jason, I started doing the same thing. You know what they say, "great minds think alike..." ;)

I might do some on the midway cam after opening day and after they fix it.

I think because, (A) it's fits the decor, and (B) it allows for air movement.

A) The air compressor match Frontier Town's theme?
B) What are the giant vents for on the roof? *** Edited 5/5/2006 2:49:22 AM UTC by Gomez***

I just got dun going over all the stuff that was posted to day about Media Day and the 2007 Project (and there was a lot). I have to say thanks to Walt and Jeff and everyone else. The way you guys covered this was amazing. Keep up the good work.
RIDE ON, and ON and ON and ON and ON and ON...
A. No, the building.
B. If you look closely, (although you might not be able to tell from those pictures, but I went back and checked mine to confirm) you'll notice that those vents are conected to specific units, and do not vent the building as a whole.

I can't stress it enough on how good of a job Walt and Jeff did with this year's media day. They've covered all bases once again and the HD video made things even better. Looking forward to Opening Day.

Yeah, they did a good job at making the Compressor room blend in, and using the existing Mine Ride building. I was quite impressed. The open-ness lets the coaster geeks in all of you go up and actually see what they all look like.

Well, not right up to it, but the distance from the Mine Ride exit isn't too bad though. I'll definatly be snapping a few pictures. :)

All of our content is now up, include a video with some on-ride audio (mostly screaming :) ). If you have trouble with the larger videos, click on the iPod link to get a smaller size.
Not many photos of the actual ride in motion, but like I said before, that ride is a tough morning shoot. We'll have more this weekend.
Thanks Walt & Jeff.
I thought that the compressors that were delovered were Kaiser Compressors.
That room is all full of Ingersoll Rand now...
Stan Checketts is hilarious. The enthusiasm he shows for all his rides is unbelievable.

^The is crazy in such a good way. He has the enthusiasm that is needed to be in that type of industry.
Skyhawk doesn't look all that scary, but it looks like a fun ride. It'll be another ride added to my "must ride each trip" list.
