Update: Skyhawk Media Day

someone else asked this, but no one replied yet. the video is 60 seconds long (from pointbuzz). CPs website says the ride time is 120 seconds. is this truly a "preview" of the ride and not the full cycle?

Based on everything we know about every other ride in the park, as well as CP's web site, its safe to assume that Skyhawk's ride time is "approximately 2 minutes".

CP really needs to change their videos for SkyHawk. They need to make sure that the video is not of a girl who screams at the top of her lungs the entire time. It is actually painful to watch those videos with sound.

Yeah, you can't even have your speakers on at all for that video. I couldn't believe that they would put that on their site. Who wants to listen to that squeal for the whole video?

The other video (the ride overview one) I though would be good, but about 10 seconds in it cuts to that girl and I had to turn it off. Whoever decided to put those up dropped the ball.

I was happy thinking i'd get to hear what "Skyhawk" sounded like. Instead i got to hear Skyhawk a little bit and alot of screaming.

Real quick question about the restraints for Skyhawk how restrictive are they on big people... If you can ride mantis and raptor and other rides how do you think i will fair on skyhawk.. Also same question applies to MaxAir.. Have not been to the park in 2 years and wanted some input...

I was trying to play it, but apparently my computer can't handle 720p videos, since the audio worked but the picture would stop after like 5 seconds.

I have an Athlon XP-2100+
1 GB of RAM
256MB Nvdia GeForce Video Card...

It must be my processor...

geewhzz - google Apple Quicktime. The player you need is Apple Quicktime.

I had no problem on my work PC. I'll have to check what happens when I get home.

Yeah, same with me. The Quicktime 7 player will play the videos but the 720p and even 480p video brings my computer to it's knees.

Had not problems with video or sound.

OMG I dunno about u guys but the videos on CP's site are so annoying and that black chick that screams at the top of her lungs the WHOLE time made me turn off the video I couldnt even finish it with the volume on low it was so bad

Was Mr. Kinzel anywhere to be found on media day? I didn't see him in any of the pictures.
