Update: Skyhawk Media Day

someone please give me a link to a viewer that works...all i get is sound....

If you still have trouble, its probably because your computer cannot handle the HD file, not the viewer.

The Skyhawk MidwayVision is broke. Thumbnail image is broken, and clicking it or the Enlarge link leads to a Directory Listing Denied error.

Seeing this video (such high quality!) and hearing the sound, I must say I'm excited. The screeching sound puts an image of a metal... uh, skyhawk screeching loudly in my head. It all kinda fits when you think about it.

Oh, and that thing gets up to speed really quickly. Wow. Although technically slower, it looks a lot faster than maXair, possibly because it's smaller.

Can't wait!

SkyHawk is taller then maXair, but it's swing isn't as high.

A diffrence of 15 feet between the two(swing hight)

What happened this morning Kenny was supposed to show us a video of the WWL site. I had to leave so I Tivo'd it and I just got back from school and they never showed the clip.

How's the load time? Does it take longer to load the ride than it does to cycle?

It was hard to judge because they spent time getting video and still shoots ready. They also only had a couple of ride ops, making it take even longer.

Why? Your monitor is already High-Def and it has better quality than any other TV. Unless you want to see it on a big screen.

I did not know my iBook G4 was high def, but I sure want to watch it on my 57'' wide screen TV.

Um, no...I don't like to speculate on things like this. Guessing the new attraction is one thing. It doesn't have anything to do with Cedar Point though...if that is what you are getting at.

Once again, Pointbuzz has the best coverage and now the best video by far.

Seeing the ride in the pictures and videos, it looks a lot bigger than I thought. I wasn't expecting it to be so loud, but it sounds really cool. I'm really looking forward to this ride on Monday.

He was apparently meeting up with someone. When he came back he was in a hurry to see someone. Then he came back, I'm guessing with whoever that person was, and rode Skyhawk with him. After that he did some interviews. It really just seemed like he had a tight schedule today.

I don't doubt that. He's a busy guy. I just think something is afoot at the Circle K.
