I'm curious if they'll also reuse the old WWL queue.

I think they would.

Imagine your favorite tv show. You've been through it all. The ups, the downs, the crazy coincidences and then bang! They tell you what it's all about. Would you be happy? Does it make sense? How come it all ended in a church? - Joker
For the average park goer who uses the main gate, they are going to have a long trek to this ride in the morning.
Even if you use the Soak City entrance it's still about as far as going from the Joe Cool fence to Millennium Force.

Sorry if I am repeating this but there is a really nice photo update on the maverick page... http://maverick.cedarpoint.com/latest/gallery/
I'm going to have some more pictures from the weekend to post later on tomorrow or Thursday most likely. Just been really slow at getting my stuff from my truck to my apartment from the weekend. :)
looks like the update from CP answered the "will they drain the pond before the season's over" question

Apparently less than 3 days.

Makes me wonder once the Overbank turn over the pond is finished, if they'll have to make the pond a little deeper. This way in case it we get heavy rains next year we won't have to worry about the water going over the supports and track. I mean just looking at the pond, it looks very shallow. I hope I'm making sence here.
Yeah, you make sense, but unless they actively control the level of the pond with pumps, the pond will always be the same depth, regardless of how deep it is. The depth of a body of water has a lot to do with the water table, so making it deeper would not make the high-water mark any lower. It would just increase the volume.

Here's a question. What happens to the fish when a pond/lagoon is drained around the park?
Promoter of fog.
Uh, do they even have fish in them?

Oh no, here comes the big carp debate, part III. :)
Consider me one of the many who are surprised that they'd start on the pond turn this soon. Who's got Thanksgiving in the "Last Track Piece Installed" pool??? :)
It really wouldn't surprise me to see them spend all day today (and maybe tomorrow) erecting stuff and then turning the pumps back on to refill it before Friday. It kinda makes sense.

Definatly. I have pictures. Though they arn't currently posted as I didn't think anyone would want to see them.

Why would there be any fish since they've already drained it once this year?
My guess would be to keep the algea level down. Fish will help keep the water clean to a certain degree. Though in their own way they are also making it dirty. And to clarify, the pictures I have were from this year after the original footer installation.
