Update: July 10

I agree with the wood for station. In TTD photos(someone help me on the upload process on photos) there were a couple of blue tarps that were covering wood piles.

TTD station isn't made of wood.

but think about what the theme of the area is..it seems right for the station to be made of wood. TTD is in an area of steel...

dear god! i got it! its going to be a steel coaster with a wood building around it to make it indoors! umm..no. we dont need another DISASTER (woww..its a pun)

I didn't mean that there will be wood involved. I'm currently trying to find the picture I'm referring to. When TTD was being constructed I remember seeing a blue tarp partially pulled back exposing a pile of wood. It just may have been used for construction purposes, but it was in the parking lot with all the supports and track.

I'm sorry all...I found close to the picture I was looking for...it's in the WT construction. The wood is shown in a bundle by the footer. The parking lot photo is gone.

I feel as though I just watched a complete thread from these forums unfold on video.

i.e. The same thing over and over and over.

I want to exercise a point maxairaptor made during his film...The track is a heck of alot bigger than it looks on camera, i can't emphasize that enough!!!

I know we've said this but the shear size of the track might have to do with the possible "mystery" train that everyone seems so sure of. Or it's something 4-abreasted...who knows...impatiently waiting for August...

ok the clip you posted!!! sheesh people are soo technical these days ;)

I think the wood is for the station or mabey it's for a building that would house the electrical systems and things like that.

the track is the same width and size as all the other recent intamins at the park. it just LOOKS bigger because you're so close to it. when track is 300 feet in the air, it looks smaller. LOL!!

check out the construction pictures of MF. you'll see that the track is just as big. :)

The wood that's under Gemini is Gemini rehab wood. Gemini has been undergoing a multi-year wood replacement project for the past few years. Wood has been there since the project started.

Doesn't anyone pay any attention anymore?
