I want to know how many times the word wood has been used in the thread, seems like a lot. I think the blue tarp has something to due with the ride, that it will tell us if it's is a luanch, cable, etc.. I don't know just guessing.
If it means anything regarding verticle construction, the supports that are on-site were delivered there. They were not moved there from the staging area. I think it might be more of a "we're done with work in this area, we can put these here now without them getting in the way."

So what we see there is not all of them right? I'm thinking as talls as some of those supports are, I'm thinking that's for a possible lift hill construction, because I"m still leaning to this being a lift hill coaster. So I think more will be coming in soon since vertical construction should begin at the end of July. I'm willing to bet once some of the supports from the staging area are moved on-site, we'll start seeing more track show up.
The staging area looks rather full with supports, from the road at least.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but has does anyone else find it odd that there hasn't been any piece of track that is straight, rather they all seem curved as if at the bottom of a hill. Not sure what htis means or if Im just trying to find something out of nothign.

Look at the bottom right of the tarp. You can see wood pieces sticking out.
Oh no you didn't. Well, in THAT case, then, I think there are BLUE TARPS under the blue tarp, because I see blue tarp when I look at the blue tarp. That wood you see is the wood that is holding the blue tarp down. :)
However, I will not harp on you too much. ;)
Thats not the wood I'm talking about. I do see a piece of wood holding down the tarp, BUT...if you look to the left of that piece holding down the tarp, you should be able to clearly see wood sticking out of the tarp.
I see the pallet, but the wood I see sticking out is on top of the pallet.
I'm not as dumb as I seem to am be....am, be...am...wait no, it's be. ;)

Hey I just got back from cedarpoint yesterday, and thought i'd let you guys know for further inspection... i noticed some wood located under the gemini farthest from the station. I don't know if it is relevant to Project 2007, but there is definatly wood being stored there.

Can you just see them sitting in their offices, laughing at us? saying "look at those freaks..
I know they are, they are probally looking at it right now laughing ha ha ha look at these crazy people guessing what it is going to be.
Plus, laughing about we know what it is and they don't ha ha ha.
On what hockeyrino said about the wood underneath Gemini, didn't they reboard the ride (Gemini) this off season? That's probably what's that wood from. Not for Project 2007. And what's underneath that tarp. Probalby what other people have said. Componets of the coaster that aren't weather-proof yet. (Chain or cable lift system parts, brakes, control panels, etc. )

From the pictures, I honestly can't tell if wood is sticking out from underneath the tarp, is part of a pallet underneath the tarp, or is lying on the ground in front of and next to the tarp.
What I CAN say, however, is that I doubt Cedar Point would cover a pile of wood with a tarp. From a common sense standpoint, if wood needed to be covered, then Cedar Point would have hired that Cristo guy long ago to drape the Mean Streak, Gemini and Blue Streak. I'm more inclined to think it's something else, but my speculative abilities are suspect at this time of morning.
I'll be happy with anything Cedar Point puts in provided it doesn't run backwards, which to me always seems like a lame gimmick reserved for second-rate rides with low ridership at other parks.

I can assure you, with 100% certainty and accuracy, that there is wood underneath that tarp.

I was not being sarcastic, I was just curious...if he knows something...please share.
I'm actually Dick Kinzel in disguise I often post on the forums to give you little hints and clues.;) I don't know anything actually (about this ride). I just made up some random date and stuck with it. Now if they do start vertical construction on that day then I will be amazed and reward myself with a cookie.:)

New Season of 'The Office'. TONIGHT!!!
How much wood would a blue tarp hold if a blue tarp could hold wood?

I believe that there's wood underneath that tarp also. The real question is, is it boards or is it crates holding something other than wood?
Or is it crates that have boards inside of them? ;)

mmmmmm cookies I want one. Well, because a bunch of people saying there is wood under the tarp I'm going to say there is not to get you guys mad. I still think it's a thing that tell us if its going to be a launch or lift or something.
Plus, the wood under Gemini. I thought I saw wood last year by Mean Streak. I think someone told me if was to replace wood on Mean Streak. They are probably going to repace some wood on Gemini this year in the off season.

It's likely Gemini's rehab wood.

I still say that if it's wood under the tarp that it's cut up into pieces and inside crates so they have to put it all together like a puzzle then use shellac to hold it together for the ride. ;)
