Wow.. $50 a flight. I figured it was more like $300-400. Do they let you pay $100 for a 40 minute flight?Although 20 minutes would probably be pretty sufficient.
Hmm. I wasn't expecting it to be that cheap.
It used to be, maybe still is, the 20 mins got you circled around the park 3 times. The pilots were always really nice and were used to flying people around the park...
Hey aren't these pieces for the brake run. http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=4700"]http://http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=4700

Yeah. They DO look similar. I could see them using a few of the same parts. It'd be less inveentory for CP to keep track of if two coasers use the same part.

There's another theory as to what those pieces are for:

Sorry if this was asked before, but didn't someone say that the track pieces on the construction site came from a trailer, not the staging area? Does this also go for the supports we see laying around the site? (Did those come from trailers/trucks, or from the staging area?)
Yes, the track in the Project Area came directly from the trailers that delivered them.
As for the supports, some were delivered directly to the site, while others have been moved there from the staging area.

that ride looks so dumb. has anyone here gone on cal. screamin? *** Edited 8/8/2006 7:55:14 PM UTC by milleniumforcerocks***
Walt does entirely too much for us. Thanks Walt!
California Screamin is a solid roller coaster and something similar would be a fine addition to Cedar Point.
I've been on Screamin' too. It's a long, fun coaster. The only knock I have is the OTS restraints and you sit really low in the car so you can't really see too much.
Guys i just went to point pixels .com and the white water landing is getting half way tore down ealier today go over to the site and check it out.some people said it was going to get tore down and guess what they was right .at least half of it is getting tore down
I think this project is going to be more exciting then any thing cedarpoint has ever done.I never really use to get into the coasters untill this year. The more i check out these forms the more involve i get.
Can you say, the WWL STATION is going bye bye? WWL is all ready out and torn down

You're jumping to too many conclusions... It's just the concrete that used to be the "pool." They were very careful when they did what they did not to touch the station... at least so far.
