Well, If the end of the ride has an up-hill brake run......then yes this could be the end of the ride ;)

OK i know i've said it more than twice, but i think this ride's gonna have a quad heartline roll and i think it's gonna be over this new track we've seen today that will be the station and launch. spiralin ovuh the station!
Don't let up on the lovin'
Ok , I know I am going to get flamed for this and I probably deserve it, but I counted the steps in these 2 pictures, http://www.pointpixels.com/4images/details.php?image_id=8068
http://www.pointpixels.com/4images/details.php?image_id=8066
and I count approximately 189 steps, now taking in to account an 8" rise for the steps, I figure the hill will be approx. 126 feet tall...
(189 * 8")/12" = 126'
I have way too much time on my hands, and I know this doesn't take into account stairs past the top of the hill and it doesn't count how high the track is above the ground when the hill starts, but hey I am kinda bored.... ;) *** Edited 8/31/2006 5:22:23 AM UTC by Aaron_toledo***

Aaron: thanks to Dorney's guess that the hill is 400ft in length, i figured out that the 400ft hill would either be 200ft at a 30 degree angle or 282ft with a 45 degree angle. Both are figured out using the SIN function. The reason for 45 degree and 30 degree hills is that the highest lifthill angle at CP is MF at 45 and the rest are about 30 (some have higher angles). *** Edited 8/31/2006 5:45:27 AM UTC by SFGA=toilet***
Now I can proudly chant "We're No. 16!" Thank you Cubs for allowing me to live my dream.
I figure the hill will be approx. 126 feet tall...
That would be true, except those steps will probably be used for both launch sections.
Brandon
I don't really care what kind of launch it is, as long as this coaster doesn't turn out like Stormrunner at Hersheypark. Worst... coaster... ever.
Well, no offense, but there are people out there with a similar opinion regarding Maggie, MF, TTD, Raptor, Mantis, Gemini, etc.
I've heard good things about the ride, and would welcome something similar for 2007.
Brandon
Im new to this posting thing and i've been keeping up with project 2007, i was just thinking what if it has a chain lift hill and in the middle of the hill it hits a set of lim's and gets shot to the top.
What's up with all the negative comments about Storm Runner? I thought it was a great ride, and would very much welcome something similar, but longer and more involved at Cedar Point!
Take care and God bless!
Cedarfreak,
If you hit LIMs halfway up the tower, then why have the chain at all? You could just hit a series of LIMs all the way up.
Mark
here is an UPDATE from yesterday... SHows the whole Launch, which now I am starting to think its a station =/

2008 - Mantis/MF/Skyride
2009 - ATL Raptor
2010 - TL Sweeps
2011 & 2012 - Area 3 Rides Supervisor
That's one heck of a transition. :)
ADDED
Am I seeing things, or are those declined-level-inclined transitions angular? As in, not curved.

Brandon
they have a little curve to them... but seeing that makes me see a slower speed, so it almost HAS to be a station, or so I think

Not a station, here is why:
Stations do not go uphill
Stations have a long brake run before them.
The direction of travel is towards the bay.
This is a mid-course launch.

How much of that track has LIM-mounting plates, BGR?
EDIT
Too many G's.
